This replacement battery for Lorex wire-free security cameras helps you monitor your property by keeping your "eyes" up and running with minimal downtime. You can charge up this battery in advance so that it's ready to swap in when your camera's current battery runs low. When your camera's current battery is low. Features
Overview: This Accessory Power Pack (ACBATTR3A-CT) is designed for select Lorex Battery-Operated Cameras. The 3-cell Lithium-ion battery is rechargeable for reliable and long-lasting power for your wire-free security cameras. The power pack comes with matching covers for black and white cameras.
Charging: The Power Pack can be charged via Micro USB cable and a USB power adapter (both sold separately). The battery should be charged between 6 to 8 hours to reach a full charge. A fully charged battery lasts approximately 6 months, based on 24 events (10-second recordings) per day. Battery life varies with temperature and ambient light. Darker and colder environments may reduce battery life up to 50%.
LED Indicator: The battery has an LED that indicates the current charging status. As the battery charges, the LED glows red. When it reaches full charge, the LED turns green. If the battery is outside of the safe charging temperature (32°-113°F), the LED will flash red and stop charging.
Fastening Screw: The Power Pack comes with two fastening screws to secure the battery to the camera. One screw is designated for the LWB4800, LWB4900, U222, U424, and U855 series cameras, while the other is used with LWB5800 and LWB6800 cameras.

Chose an extra battery to change for low batteries and avoid camera downtime (particularly at cameras not near a power outlet for the charger). However, found the solar panels a better option yet.
