Q
Where do these go? Front rear or truck bed?
brian  Apr 08, 2023
1 answer
A
These bad boys can go wherever you need good sound, Brian! I would say most commonly we see them installed behind truck seats in truck cabs with no existing speaker locations, or on rear decks of vehicles to add speakers. Since they are universal, they are extremely flexible application wise and most 6x9 speakers we carry are a good fit!

Q
what size subwoofer's fit in these?
genaro  Nov 26, 2022
1 answer
A
We offer these boxes to hold the 6x9 speakers we offer. While we do not have a 6x9 subwoofer, it could hold a 6x9 subwoofer that fits within the mounting parameters of boxes.

Q
Won't installing speakers in a sealed box change the way they sound? I bought a plastic enclosure B/4 for a diiferent pair and they sounded horrible until a friend said they were compressed so I had to drill large holes in the back and that solved the problem
james  Jun 20, 2022

A
You're absolutely correct James! Anytime you change the enclosure you will affect the speaker sound. One advantage to these MDF boxes is they will sound more warm and lifelike vs the ABS plastic made counterparts. Using a polyfill material can always warm up the ABS enclosures, too. We wouldn't advise porting these however, we see they perform well with a wide range of 6x9 speakers. Small sealed enclosures are generally the rule of thumb for tight, accurate bass response. Any time you'd like boomier, deeper bass go ported! These are a super easy way to drop some sound in vehicles that don't have the factory spot for a 6x9.
