The XRS 9950 detects 12 bands from great distances and locks onto those signals quickly — you'll know instantly if you're near one of 6 radar, 4 laser, or 2 safety signal frequencies. You'll get 360-degree laser coverage as well as POP instant-on radar alerts. The XRS 9950 also offers complete immunity to VG-2 and Spectre radar detector detection devices and alerts you to their presence.

Striking color graphics
Enjoy the added benefit of 3-D graphics and vivid color with the XRS 9950's 1.5" hi-resolution screen. The bright, easy-to-read display features full color visual alerts for specific bands of radar detected, plus important signal strength readouts. The strobe display feature lets you know if there are emergency vehicles equipped with traffic-light controlling strobe emitters approaching, and you'll also receive alerts for upcoming railroad crossings and road hazard locations.

More features
The XRS 9950 also features voice alerts, as well as auto-muting and intelligent muting functions which sense relative speed to virtually eliminate false alerts. It also features three city modes to keep false alarms down in urban areas. A voltage display lets you know when the car battery is running low, and a handy 8-point electronic compass helps you visualize which way you're heading.

Cobra offers an optional GPS locator for the XRS 9950, which provides alerts to verified locations for speed and red light cameras in the U.S. and Canada.
