MP3 Playback: This unit will
play MP3 files recorded onto CD-ROM, CD-R and CD-RW discs using the ISO 9660

This feature does not work for MP3 CDs. Playback resumes at the
beginning of the file instead of the stopping point within the file.
Screen Saver:
The screen saver image appears when you leave the player in pause or stop mode
for more than 15 minutes. This feature can be turned on or off.
Dynamic Range Compression:
If the audio on a DVD is too loud and you can't hear low-level sound, such as
dialogue, you can turn on the dynamic range compression. You can choose from the
following settings: Full, High, Mid, Low, or Off.

The DVD/CD player can be connected to an NTSC or PAL monitor.

MDR-IF0140 Wireless
Headphone Features
Overview:
The DVD/CD player/monitor has a built-in transmitter that sends audio to the
MDR-IF0140 wireless headphones, which have built-in IR receivers. The headphones
employ an open air design with foam ear pads. The right earcup has an on/off
switch, power indicator, and a rotary volume control. The left earcup houses the
battery compartment for the supplied "AAA" battery. One "AAA" battery can
provide up to 60 hours of use.
Attenuate Function:
If the infrared rays are obstructed, or the headphones are used outside their
effective range, noise will increase and the audio will become hard to hear. To
avoid potential ear damage as a result of noise, this function attenuates any
sound in the headphones. Sound is automatically restored when you move closer to
the transmitter or remove the obstruction.
