J.R.: Advisers are sitting on the phones all day, and they should be able to talk with customers about these products and actually have experience with them. So we set this stuff up so that people could come over on their breaks, in between phone calls, on their lunch, before or after they are, you know, taking calls, and get a chance to play their own music on their own iPod so that we can get a good idea of what we're listening to so that when customers ask us we can answer knowledgeably.

These Sennheisers are excellent — the HD 598s. Who are these good for? They're good for me, I can tell you that. You know, when I listen at home, I'm often sitting at my desk. In my office I have a drum set behind me so sometimes I'm on the drums, sometimes I'm at my desk, but I do a lot of critical listening. I really like music. And anything I played on these today sounded excellent, so I can't imagine that you need to have a certain musical style to enjoy these headphones. I think anybody would be pretty happy with them based on their music. However, your listening environment may sort of govern whether or not these are right for you. If you are sitting in an office and you like to listen to it loud, your neighbors are going to listen to your music and that's kind of not the point of headphones. So the open air design, while it helps them sound open and spacious and wonderful, it's not the greatest for that type of a setting.
