Going wireless is the most convenient way to play music from your iPod, iPad or iPhone through your Focal Bird powered speaker system. This dongle plugs into your player's dock connector and lets you stream music wirelessly to any Focal Bird system that includes the Power Bird amplifier/subwoofer module. In fact, you can transmit to as many as four Bird systems at the same time.

Thanks to Kleer® wireless technology, this dongle passes CD-quality audio signals with plenty of detail. Although it has a transmission range of up to 33 feet, it uses very little power so you don't have worry about draining your iPod's battery. Plus, this transmitter synchronizes with your Focal Bird speaker system with a simple touch of a button.

    Overview: With the Kleer technology Focal iTransmitter connected to your Apple iPod, iPhone or iPad's dock connector; you can wirelessly transmit your Apple device's stored music or streaming music apps to a Focal Bird speaker system (sold separately). Thanks to the Kleer technology built into both, the Focal wireless transmitter and the Focal Bird speaker system, your compatible Apple device's audio is wirelessly transmitted over a 2.4GHz radio-frequency link (up to 33') with no audio compression. Kleer technology delivers CD-quality digital stereo sound for CD-Audio, WAV, and AIFF music files. The Kleer technology Focal iTransmitter is also compatible with MP3, AAC, and Apple Lossless music files. In addition, the iTransmitter supports wireless audio transmission of music apps streamed to your iPod touch or iPhone. As an added bonus, the Kleer technology Focal iTransmitter uses very low power consumption, so it won't put too much drain on your iPod, iPhone, or iPad's battery.

    Note: The IR remote control that comes with your Focal Bird speaker system will operate basic playback functions of your wirelessly connected iPod, iPhone, or iPad.  Playback functions include - Play/Pause, Fast Forward/Rewind, and Skip Previous/Next.
