Features

Overview: The Velbon Ultrek Series UT-45L is an ultra-compact tripod that's ideal for traveling, because it can be folded to less than 1/5 of its maximum length. It features a 2-section center column, and 6-section legs that can fold up 180°. The tripod comes in a handy vinyl carrying case.

PHD-42Q Head: The UT-45L is equipped with the PHD-42Q 4-way head, which can pan, tilt, and rotate 90° left or right for vertical (portrait) photos. It has the QB-62 Quick-Release plate with a standard 1/4" camera screw. The plate lets you quickly remove the camera from the tripod, and locks into the head automatically by the shoe lever when returned to the tripod. The head has three bubble levels to help you get your pictures level perfect.

6-Section Legs: The telescoping legs are loosened by twisting counter-clockwise. Twisting the leg end tip clockwise locks all leg sections in one action.

Leg Angles: The leg angles can be opened from standard 25°, to 45° semi-low, and full-low 75°. The central leg adjuster has three 3-way switches to allow you to set the angle of each leg. The adjuster can be lifted and rotated so the legs can be folded up 180° for storage.
