2Ω Stable: The GTA-1000M is 2Ω stable; the lower
impedance offers higher output power:
- 600 watts x 1 @ 4 Ω
- 1000 watts x 1 @ 2 Ω
Controls and Terminals: All the controls and terminals are
conveniently mounted on one side of the amp.
Controls
Gain: Adjust the input sensitivity with this rotary control;
the range is 0.2 Volts to 5.0 Volts for line-level and 0.4 Volts to 10.0 Volts
for speaker-level.
Crossover Frequency: The low-pass crossover is always engaged,
with a crossover point continuously variable from 50 Hz to 150 Hz; the slope is 12
dB/octave.
Subsonic Filter: The subsonic (high-pass) filter is always
on and is continuously variable from 10 Hz to 50 Hz; the slope is 12 dB/octave.
Q-Tune: Once the subsonic crossover point has been set, use
the rotary Q-Tune control to increase the bass information centered around the
crossover point.
Connections
Speaker-level Input: Use the included speaker-level input
harness when the receiver has no RCA outputs.
Line-level Input: Left and right RCA jacks for the input signal
from the head unit.
GTA-RSL: RJ-14 port; connect an optional GTA-RSL remote level control (item number
065GTARSL, sold separately).
Speaker Output: One pair of set-screw terminals is provided
for connecting the subwoofer; the terminals accept up to 8-gauge wire; the set
screws are tightened/loosened with the supplied 3mm Allen wrench.
ATO Fuses: Three 35-amp ATO-type fuses are located between
the speaker and power terminals.
Power/Remote: Three set-screw terminals for connecting power,
ground, and remote wires; the power and ground terminals accept up to 4-gauge wire
(4-gauge recommended) and the remote terminal accepts up to 8-gauge wire; the set
screws are tightened/loosened with the supplied 4mm and 3mm Allen wrenches.
