XpressKit modules work with your vehicle's anti-theft system to incorporate the convenience, security and luxury features of your Python™ alarm system.

An XpressKit interfaces with vehicles using an "immobilizer" key system, allowing you route commands through your vehicle's data system, so your signal's more secure. You have fewer wires to connect and, best of all, your extra key stays with you, not in your car.

Use the XK06 to remote start any vehicle using select GM anti-theft systems, including those with CAN-BUS protocols, Passlock 1 & 2, ION, VATS, Passkey3 and Hybrid Passlock/Passkey3 immobilizers. These systems are typically found in 2003-up GM and Chevrolet vehicles and 2004-up Chevrolet Malibu, MAXX, Colorado and Canyon trucks.

    Overview: The XK06 programmable Immobilizer Data Override Interface preloaded with upgradeable firmware is compatible with GM Hybrid Passkey immobilizer systems like that used in select GM vehicles. XK06 temporarily overrides the factory immobilizer when remote starting while maintaining the integrity of the manufacturer's anti-theft system when remote start is not in use.

    Compatibility: The XK06 is compatible with a wide selection of GM immobilizer systems such as PASSLOCK I, II ION, VATS, Passkey 3 and Hybrid Passlock & Passkey 3+ anti-theft systems. Innovative and upgradeable, the XK0-6 with applicable firmware is capable of providing a data override interface solution for every type of GM immobilizer system including those using CAN protocol. The default firmware (PKG7 2.0) installed on the XK0-6 is compatible with the following vehicles (as of 1/24/2012)
