Features

Dual-Layer IMX Aramid/Basalt Fiber Composite Cone: The Pioneer D-Series speaker features Dual-layer IMX (Injection-molded Matrix) aramid/basalt fiber composite cone woofers. Used in the surface layer, this Aramid/Basalt Fiber material is highly rigid and better absorbent, enhancing stability and maintaining integrity throughout a wide temperature range. The woofers also have butyl rubber surrounds for a smoother response, heat resistant voice coil, and 10-ounce Strontium magnets.

Rear Chamber Tweeter Enclosure: The Pioneer D-Series speakers feature an exclusive rear chamber tweeter enclosure. This design extends mid-range frequency for improved vocal imaging and staging. The TS-D1302R's 3/4" soft dome tweeters also utilizes wave guides to control sound dispersion to make sound stage wider in the car. In addition, the tweeter uses a magnetic fluid neodymium magnet for higher efficiency.

Grilles: The speakers come with black steel mesh grilles with silver heat-proof resin frames.

Mounting: The speaker features a standard 5.25", 4-hole mounting pattern.
