Product Overview: The YDS-10
provides an interface between an iPod digital media player and select Yamaha audio-video
components and systems. Components with a universal dock jack are compatible. Once an iPod is docked in the
YDS-10, you can control
it using the Yamaha unit's wireless remote control. The iPod's battery is charged
when docked. The dock allows you to view digital photos and video stored on the
iPod on your TV. All text information can be displayed on your TV.
iPod Compatibility: The YDS-10 is compatible with
iPods having a dock connector. Adaptors are included for the 20,
30, 40, and 60 GB iPods and the iPod mini. The adaptors for the 5th generation
iPods (including the nano) are included with the iPods.
Note: The iPod classic, third generation iPod nano (with video),
and iPod touch are also compatible, but for music only. The YDS-10 will not
transfer any video (still pictures, motion video, or the iPod menu system)
from these iPods.
Component Compatibility: The
YDS-10 is compatible with
receivers having the universal dock jack.
Remote Control: The remote
control included with your Yamaha component is used to control your iPod.
iPod Photo and Video Playback:
The YDS-10 is compatible with iPod photos or video, audio and video signals are
transferred to the receiver through the included dock cable.
