The Vista 9960 flat-panel TV stand from BDI makes a bold visual statement when you place it in a room. A built-in bracket secures your TV directly to the stand's single pillar, which is height-adjustable. Two rounded tempered glass shelves hold additional audio/video components. You can run all of your system's cables down the interior of the pillar, so there's nothing to disturb the clean, elegant look of your setup.

Features

Universal TV Mounting Bracket: The Vista 9960 can be used with flat-panel TVs measuring between 37" and 55". Its universal TV mounting bracket at the top of the pillar works with almost any flat-panel TV. The mounting bars can accommodate horizontal hole spacing from 11.75" to 26.5" (298mm x 673mm) and vertical hole spacing from 9.875" to 13.5" (250mm x 342mm) on the back of your TV. The Vista 9960 comes with the following size screws to mount your TV to the bracket: M4.5, M5, M6, and M8. The pillar design allows you to adjust the height of the bracket before you mount the TV.

Note: The Vista 9960 can support a TV with a maximum weight of 225 lbs.

Adjustable Shelves: The Vista 9960 features two adjustable, tempered glass shelves. With the TV bracket mounted in the highest position, you can move the adjustable shelves up and down within a range of approximately 2.5'. This range will vary depending on the size of the TV. Each shelf has the following dimensions: W=28.75", D=18".

Note: Each shelf can support a component with a maximum weight of 50 lbs.

Wire Management: The integrated wire management keeps the wires and cords out of sight.

The stand is wonderful and easy to assemble. It's very stable, well built and hides the cables with ease. This product drop ships from the manufacturer and shipped promptly. The local delivery service they use left a lot to be desired. The dispatcher and driver both stated curbside service was what they provided although I was able to talk the driver into putting the 120 pound box inside the door, he complained. The manufacturer should use a delivery service that will place the product inside the home as most people are not equipped to manage something that heavy and large from the curb.

I received the stand in excellent condition from Crutchfield. It was very easy to assemble, one person could do it with no problem. The box had a lot of extra hardware. The Samsung LCD I bought (LN52A650) had smaller mounting bolts, not to worry, because this stand had replacement bolts for all LCD/Plasma sizes, including extensions in case the TV had some curvature (I use them for my LCD). Once built, this stand is a beauty, black finish, modern looking, and very stable indeed. The two shelves are well built and heavy duty, can easily handle up to 50 Lb of hardware, you cannot do wrong by purchasing this stand, especially from Crutchfield.

I wanted a TV stand that could fit in a small corner of my living room, and also support my 46" LCD. It also had to be stable (I have a three-year-old son), and of course look good. While expensive, the BDI Vista 9960 fit the bill perfectly.

Everything arrived in good condition, and all parts were present (and then some!). Actually, the extra parts were a little confusing when going down the checklist in the instructions, but that's a small complaint.

Assembly took four hours. The instructions are clear and there aren't a lot of steps. Don't take the shelf and mount placement verbatim from the instructions though - measure your TV and place them accordingly, or you will have headaches when trying to mount your TV later.

Things I like about this product: It looks good, is very stable, has an *excellent* cord control system, is highly configurable, is well engineered (fit and ease of assembly), and is well packaged with all the tools and materials you'll need (sans screwdriver).

Things I don't like: the weight (adds to stability but hard to reposition the unit), some ripples in the paint, ugly welds (most are hidden post-assembly).

I was surprised and disappointed to find that a product with such great design and engineering suffered from poor quality welding and painting. I feel BDI cheaped out at the last second, preventing this from becoming a five-star product. The flaws aren't noticable from a normal viewing distance, though.

Overall, I recommend this product.

Excellent quality stand

Purchased this stand from Crutchfield and fits perfectly in the corner of my bedroom supporting my new sony lcd tv. Excellent quality as only BDI exhibits. Even though BDI is a little pricey they are made of good quality steel and a powder coat finish that will last a lifetime. This is my 2nd BDI stand. I could not be happier with my purchase. Delivered promptly and double boxed by BDI so as to not scratch the stand or break any of the glass shelves. Very good height that provides a good viewing height while watching tv in bed. Thanks again, Crutchfield for the prompt shipment and excellent service.

I've had this stand now for about 3 weeks and I absolutely love it! I was looking for a compact stand that (1) could be placed in a corner, (2) allowed for a flat panel TV to be mounted, (3) had a cord management system to hide wires, and (4) looked cool. The Vista matched all these criteria. I have a 40" Sony V2500 mounted on it, with several components on the shelves below. I am very impressed with the build quality and all the pieces are very solid. BDI provides all the hardware you could ever need and they even supply extras (you can even order an extra shelf from some suppliers). The only problem I incurred was with mounting the TV. I had to slightly modify the supplied universal mounting bracket so that the TV would be centered horizontally on the stand. This was only a minor inconvenience. While $800 may seem like a lot to pay, it beats having someone tear up your walls. Plus, I can now take this high-quality stand with me whenever I move. As always, it was a pleasure ordering through Crutchfield.

THIS IS A VERY HIGH QUALITY STAND. I WAS UNSURE ABOUT PAYING $799.00 FOR A TV STAND. BUT WHEN IT ARRIVED AND I PULLED IT OUT OF THE BOX I WAS SO IMPRESSED. VERY NICE FINISH, ALL THICK HIGH QUALITY PARTS. THANKS TO THE CRUTCHFIELD HELP GUY, HE TOOK UP A LOT OF TIME WITH ME TO MAKE SURE I WAS HAPPY WHEN ORDERING. HE CALLED AFTER TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS FINE. THIS IS A GREAT COMPANY.
