Building on the success of Beats™ by Dr. Dre Studio headphones, the Grammy-winning hip-hop producer teamed with Monster again to create portable 'phones with that same powerful studio sound. The result: Beats Tour by Dr. Dre. True to Dre's intentions, the sound is clear and balanced, and the bass is tight — perfect for hip-hop and rock lovers. The Tours look as distinctive as they sound, with their iconic red and black machined-metal earbud casings. The flat, ribbon-like cord is extremely durable, and resists tangles.

In-ear design keeps distractions at bay

The Tour's extra-long earpieces reach a little further into your ear canals than most other earbuds, isolating you from outside sounds so you can focus on your music. They come with three pairs of cone tips and two pairs of triple-flange tips, so you can find the fit that's most comfortable for your ears. A semi-hard carrying case neatly stows your accessories and protects your 'phones.

Ultra-Fast/High Efficient Drivers: The Beats Tour earphones feature ultra-fast drivers that can accurately reproduce the full sound and details of today's digital music with precise clarity, natural vocals, and big bass punch. The large high-efficiency drivers and magnetic technology have been custom engineered to play loud without distortion so you can hear every note.

In-Ear Noise Isolation Ear-Tips: The Beats in-ear headphones features multiple pairs of various sized ear-tips, designed to fit comfortably and securely to block out external sound. Beats Tour includes five pairs of earbud tips: three pairs of cone tips and two pairs of triple-layered tips for the most comfortable, secure fit that isolates you from unwanted external noise. Beats Tour in-ear noise isolation cuts external noise for a better music experience than traditional earbuds.

Tangle-Free/ No-Loss Audio Cable: The Beats Tour cable features Monster's patented magnetic flux tube and Micro-strand construction to provide clear no-loss audio and reduced interference. The Beats earphone's cable also features a Duraflex jacket which is tough and flexible. Its flat profile virtually eliminates annoying tangles and knots.

3.5mm Connector: The Beats features a 1/8" (3.5mm) gold-plated stereo minijack connector to plug into your music player.

Carrying Case: The Monster Beats Tour earphones come supplied with a carrying case to store and transport the earphones.

The headphones are beyond my expectations for sound and quality materials.

Pros:

Great fit and the no tangle cord is just what the doctor ordered.

Great in ear headphones. Flat wire is much nicer than typical round wire. The most important thing for great sound is proper ear placement and fit. It means the difference of to much high frequency and no bass to a perfect tight bass and smooth vocals and top end.

These ear buds are great, the bass is there and the multiple size replacement
ear inserts make for a sure fit. I also own the Bose ear buds and these are
better hands down. I recommend these "buds" to the true music lover. Peace from

Not worth the price

When I first got the headphone I listened to them through my iMac. At first I was happy, the sound was clear and crisp. It lacks bass. I have a pair of $45 Sony ear buds that sound just as good with more base. I don't feel it was worth the price for these head phone. The next day I tried them out on my walk to work. When the ear buds are placed in my ears and create that "seal" that every talks about, it puts pressure in my ear canal. Not very comfortable and the sound is muffled. They don't sound well when in motion. Again, the sound is great, lacks bass. Not worth the price. Considering returning them.

Awesome! when they stay in your ear

The Fit of the ear piece makes all the diffrence!!!! these headphones come with multiple silicone ear tips, so you have to try them all to find the right fit, If you do not get a good seal on the ear these headphones will sound flat, tinny and terrible. You will notice right away when you get a good seal how much the sound changes. The reason I like these headphones is unlike many of the Shure brands... a positive and possibly a negative. Is the monsters have ear tips that are all silicone, which makes them very easy to pop in and out. Becuase I have people that stop at my desk, and I often leave my desk I like that the headphones are easy to pop in and out. If you buy Shure and other high end brands you have a memory foam ear piece that you have to crush and then hold in your ear to achieve a good fit, and to do this multiple times a day might get annoying.
That being said, my monster headphones slip out occasionally, and I find myself having to double check the fit, by pushing them into the ear again.
Bottom line, when you achieve the right seal these headphones are the greatest I have ever heard!! you will not be dissapointed. and besides! they have a really high cool factor!! As a 34 year old. I can be the cool guy that has Dr. Dre Headphones!!!! ha ha
oh, and the cord is truly tangle free! and looks really cool!

As a professional DJ, I have always looked for head phones (and now head buds)
that did not hang on my head.

These buds are now my permanent head phones. They hang around my neck, are
light, sound great, and make hearing the mix so much easier.
