Features
Compatibility:
This Q-custom enclosure is designed to replace the factory spare tire in the
2000-up Dodge Neons (including 2000-01 Plymouth Neon models).
Note: The
factory spare tire will no longer be carried in its stock location when the
enclosure is installed.
Amplifier Tray: In addition to the subwoofer enclosure, an amplifier tray
is supplied to fill the remaining area of the spare tire well. The amp tray
dimensions are as follows: Width=28.8125", Height=3", Depth=15.75".
Materials:
The enclosure and amplifier tray are made of strong, lightweight black ABS plastic. The
bottom panel
of the enclosure features a 5/8"-thick MDF baffle.
All mounting hardware is included.
Speaker Terminals: The
Q-custom has two spring-loaded binding posts, which can securely accept bare
wire, pin connectors, banana plugs and dual banana plugs.
Woofer Orientation: Once the
enclosure is mounted in the vehicle, the woofer fires downward toward the floor
of the trunk.
Mounting:
This Q-custom mounts in the spare tire well in the trunk and the amp tray
immediately behind it. The factory cover may be used to cover the enclosure and
amplifier tray.
Note: If you mount an amplifier in the tray, be sure the
factory cover does not obstruct the ventilation for the amp.
