Features
Overview: The TiVo Slide remote lets you control your compatible TiVo
DVR via Bluetooth or IR. Hidden inside the remote's ergonomic,
peanut-shaped exterior is a fully retractable QWERTY keyboard for quick and easy
text entry.
Compatibility: The TiVo Slide remote control is compatible with the
TiVo Premiere and TiVo Premiere XL.
Bluetooth & IR: The TiVo Slide remote features built-in Bluetooth and
comes with a USB/Bluetooth adapter to plug into your compatible TiVo DVR.
Bluetooth provides increased range and strength to accommodate clutter-free
setups inside cabinets. The remote will also act as a standard IR remote control.
Plug-and-Play Setup: The TiVo Slide remote control offers easy
plug-and-play setup that puts you in control in moments. Simply plug the
included USB/Bluetooth adapter into the USB port on back of your compatible TiVo
DVR and you are ready to go.
Backlit Keys: The TiVo Slide remote features an integrated
light sensor which automatically activates the remote's glow feature for the backlit
keys and keyboard, so you can use the remote control easily in the dark and
never have to turn on a light.
Slide-out Keyboard: The TiVo Slide remote's full QWERTY-format
keyboard enables faster and easier text entry for Search, YouTube, RSS and other
functions of your TiVo DVR. The slide-out keyboard only functions when the
remote is in Bluetooth mode.
Learning: The TiVo Slide remote learns commands for power, input,
volume, and mute directly from the remote controls of your TV and receiver
(without entering any codes). The remote control acts as an IR remote when
controlling your TV or receiver (Bluetooth is not operable).
Indicator Light: The TiVo Slide remote features an activity indicator
light on front of the remote control which flashes blue when in Bluetooth mode
and amber when in IR mode.
Power Requirements: The TiVo Slide remote operates off of two "AA"
alkaline batteries (included).
