Record Compatibility:
This disc conforms to Blu-ray Disc Recordable format Version 1.1. The disc
is designed for one time recording in compatible Blu-ray Disc recordable drives.
This disc is compatible with BD-R recorder write speeds up to 2x. The following
Blue-ray recordable drives are compatible - Sony's BWU-100A.
Playback Compatibility: Once
recording is complete, BD-R DLs can be played back on compatible Blu-ray
recorders and players such as Sony's Blue-ray DVD player, BDP-S1.
Recording Time: The disc
provides an exceptional amount of space for HD video recording, massive hard
disk backups and large multi-media files. With 50GB of
storage, this Dual Layer Blue-ray disc can hold up to approximately 46 hours of
standard definition television recordings or tens of thousands of music
recordings; that is 10 times the space of a standard DVD.
Data Transfer: The disc will support fast
data transfer of up to 72 Mbps.
Stable Writing: The disc also features a
high-precision disc layer which provides a level of disc flatness that results
in lower errors while recording and playback.
Archival Reliability: The disc's highly
reliable recording material design resists image corruption and deterioration
after long periods of storage.
Temperature Durability: Its high-precision
disc structure prevents warping during severe changes in temperature and
humidity.
Scratch Guard: The disc features a hard
coating to protect it against scratches and prevents staining.
