Display: The Miami Beach CD52 features a selectable spectrometer level
display. The spectrometer briefly provides a symbolic display of the volume and
audio control settings while you are adjusting them. When no settings are being
adjusted, the display will show a representation of the radio's output level. There are two spectrometer patterns to choose from, or the display can be turned off.
The X-Bass feature boosts bass response, centered at 72Hz, for more dynamic
sound. You may select from two levels of boost (high/low), or you may turn the X-Bass
Source Tone Memory: The
settings for Bass, Treble, Loudness, and X-Bass can be independently stored for
each source (FM, AM, CD, CD-Changer, or AUX).
Limit: Once the power-on volume limit is set, the receiver will turn on with
the volume set at either the preset maximum or the volume setting when the
receiver was last turned off, whichever is lower. This feature prevents you
being overpowered by an unexpected, high volume blast of output when you turn
the unit on.
You can quickly reduce the volume of the
receiver by pressing the Mute button. The amount of volume reduction can be
adjusted in the menu.

The Miami Beach CD52 has the Codem III+ analog tuner.
Configuration: This unit is equipped with a multi-band tuner. You can choose
tuner parameters for America, Europe, Asia and Thailand.
You can automatically
store the strongest 6 AM and 6 FM station using the Travel Store function. These
presets are stored in bands FMT and AM.
Sensitivity: You can select low or high sensitivity for the tuner when the
radio is in the seek mode. When set to low sensitivity, the tuner stops only at
the strongest stations, and when set to high sensitivity, the tuner stops at any
Adjustable Scan Tuning: The scan feature
briefly plays all the receivable stations. You can set the scanning time between
5 and 30 seconds. Note: When the radio scan time is changed, it also
resets the CD intro scan time for the in-dash player and the connected CD
Input "Ready": If you're not
connecting a CD changer to this unit, you can connect an optional auxiliary
input harness (023AUXIN1R) to the CD changer connector to provide input for a portable cassette, MD or MP3
player. The inputs on the optional harness are female stereo RCA jacks.
With Optional Remote: This unit is
compatible with the optional RC10 "Thummer"-type steering wheel
The Miami Beach CD52 is compatible with the following Blaupunkt CD changers: CDC
A08, CDC A06, CDC A072, CDC A02, and IDC A09. When connected to a compatible CD
changer, it will control the following functions:
- Disc up/down
- Track up/down
- Track audible
search (either direction)
- Track scan: the
first 10 seconds of each track on
each loaded disc
- Track repeat
- Disc repeat
- One Disc
