Overview: The TEAC SR100i
Hi-Fi CD/FM Radio features a built-in FM tuner, integrated CD player, and
retractable iPod/iPhone dock. The TEAC SR100i is also equipped with a USB port
and auxiliary input. The SR100i employs a two-speaker design and a built-in
amplifier for Hi-Fi stereo sound. In addition, the Hi-Fi CD/FM Radio can serve
as your alarm clock. For added convenience, an IR remote control is included for
wireless operation of the system.

Clock Radio Features
FL Display: The TEAC SR-100i Hi-Fi CD/FM Radio features a 2-line
blue-backlit FL display. You can change the brightness of the unit's front-panel
display.
12-Hour Clock: The TEAC SR-100i is equipped with a 12-hour digital
clock.
Wake-Up Timer: You can set this unit to turn on at a specific time.
You can choose to wake up to the FM tuner or your docked iPod/iPhone's music.
The wake-up timer will sound for approximately 60 minutes.
Sleep Timer: You can set the sleep timer so that the unit turns itself
off after a specified amount of time. You can select from 0-90 minutes, in
10-minute increments.
Audio Section
Two-way Stereo Speaker System: The TEAC SR-100i employs a two-speaker
system with two 1-1/4" tweeters and two 3-1/2" woofers enclosed in an acoustic
suspension enclosure for Hi-Fi stereo sound.
100 Watt Amplifier: The TEAC SR-100i utilizes an integrated 50 watt x
2-channel amplifier to power the two-way speaker system for high-output sound
Preset EQ: You can adjust the sound according to the genre of the
music or your taste. You can select from 5 EQ Presets - Pop, Jazz, Classical,
Rock, or Flat.
S.Bass: The S.Bass function reinforces the system's bass sound.
Loudness: The Loudness function increases the system's bass sound at
low volume.
Tuner Functions
PLL Synthesize FM Tuner: The TEAC SR-100i Hi-Fi CD/FM Radio is
equipped with a PLL Synthesize FM tuner (87.5-108.0 MHz). The unit offers
manual, automatic, and preset tuning.
Note: This unit does not feature a built-in AM tuner.
Preset Tuning: You can store up to 20 FM preset stations.
Mono Mode: To compensate for weak FM stereo reception, select the Mono
mode. Reception will now be forced into monaural, reducing unwanted noise.
External FM Antenna: The TEAC SR-100i includes an external FM wire
antenna.
Disc Playback
CD Player: The TEAC SR-100i Hi-Fi CD/FM Radio features a top-panel,
slot-in CD player. The unit supports playback of CD-Audio, CD-R, and CD-RW discs
(12cm only).
MP3/WMA Playback: The TEAC SR-100i supports playback of MP3/WMA audio
files recorded onto CD-R and CD-RW discs.

Playback Modes: The TEAC
SR-100i's disc player offers the following playback modes.
- Intro: Plays the
beginning (first 10 seconds) of each track/file consecutively.
- Repeat: Repeat
One/Repeat Folder/Repeat All.
- A-B: This function
allows repeat playback of any desired section of a track/file.
- Shuffle: Shuffle
Songs/Shuffle Albums.
- Program: Up to 20
tracks/files can be programmed in a desired order.
Music Information Display:
The SR-100i will display numeric and alphanumeric text from your MP3/WMA files
stored on your CD-R/RW discs.
- Numeric Text: Current
folder, current file, total number of tracks, total playing time, and
elapsed time of the current file.
- Alphanumeric Text:
Title, Artist, Album name (up to 30 characters).
Note: This unit can only display single-byte letters and numbers.
USB/AUX Connectivity
USB Port: The TEAC SR-100i Hi-Fi CD/FM Radio features a rear-panel
mini-USB (type-B) port and includes a mini-USB (type-B) to USB (type-A)
extension cable. The TEAC SR-100i supports connection of a USB flash memory
mass-storage-class (MSC) device. The SR-100i will playback MP3/WMA files stored
on a USB flash memory device formatted in FAT 12/16/32.

compatible with Hard disk drives, CD/DVD drives, and other devices
connected via USB.
USB Playback Modes: The
TEAC SR-100i's USB port supports the same playback modes as its disc player -
Intro, Repeat, A-B, Shuffle, and Program.

memory music files.

Current folder, current file, total number of tracks, and elapsed time of
the current file.

Auxiliary Input: The unit's rear-panel stereo RCA auxiliary
input lets you connect an external audio device. No audio cable included.
iPod/iPhone Compatible
iPod/iPhone Dock: The TEAC SR-100i features a retractable iPod/iPhone dock to connect your compatible iPod or iPhone. The TEAC SR-100i
supports audio playback, music navigation, and charging of select iPods
and iPhones.
- Audio Playback: You can listen to music files from your
iPod/iPhone by simply connecting the iPod/iPhone to the SR-100i's built-in
dock.
- Music Navigation: The TEAC SR-100i's IR remote control provides
full music navigation of your iPod/iPhone. You can control advanced menu
functions, as well as basic playback functions such as Play/Pause, Fast
Forward/Rewind, Skip (Next/Previous), Random, & Repeat. You can also choose
to control your iPod/iPhone from its clickwheel or touchscreen.
- Music Information Display: You will continue to use your iPod/iPhone's
LCD screen to view song/artist information.
- Charging: The SR-100i will charge your connected iPod or iPhone when
the tabletop radio is powered up.
Note: Your iPhone will need to be set to 'Airplane Mode'.
The iPod nano (6th gen) only supports basic music playback functions from
the included remote control.
iPod/iPhone Compatibility Chart: The TEAC SR-100i is "Made for
iPod/iPhone compatible" and supports the following specific iPod/iPhone models
(as of Nov. 2010).

Note: Apple iPod/iPhone software updates may change
functionality results. If you download a newer software version, you may
need to reset the device and your iPod/iPhone to regain functionality.
If this doesn't work, you may need to revert to the older software
version or wait until an newer software update is available.
Remote Control
Wireless Remote Control: The TEAC SR-100i comes supplied with an IR remote control for wireless operation of
the tabletop audio system and your docked iPod/iPhone or connected USB flash
memory device.
Note: The remote control operates on one CR2025 3V lithium
'coin-type' battery (included).
Power Requirements
AC Power Supply:
The TEAC SR-100i operates off of standard AC household current (AC12V/60Hz) using
the supplied AC power cord.
