D'Appolito Speaker Array: The PSB Alpha
Series CLR1 loudspeaker's D'Appolito speaker array employs a
single .75" ferrofluid-cooled, aluminum dome tweeter flanked by
a pair of 3.5" mid-woofers to create a wide soundstage with
increased on and off axis performance.
Dual 3.5" Woofers: The PSB Alpha Series CLR1
speaker employs dual 3.5" injection molded metalized polypropylene woofers
with rubber surrounds.
0.75" Tweeter: The Alpha Series CLR1 is equipped
with a 0.75" aluminum dome, ferrofluid-cooled tweeter.
Waveguide: The CLR1's tweeter utilizes an
acoustical waveguide to deliver, more even high frequency response, no
matter what part of the room you're in.
Crossover Network: The tweeter and woofer are
crossed over at 3,000 Hz.
Magnetically Shielded: The CLR1 is magnetically
shielded for safe placement adjacent to your television.
Enclosure Design
Wood Grain Vinyl Cabinet: The PSB Alpha Series CLR1
features a black wood grain vinyl cabinet that matches almost any decor.
Acoustic Suspension Design: The Alpha Series CLR1
utilizes an acoustic suspension (sealed) enclosure for tight, accurate
midbass performance.
Aluminum Grille: The speaker comes with a removable
aluminum (metal-mesh) black grille.
Connections
5-Way Binding Posts: The 5-way binding posts will
accept bare wire (up to 12-gauge), pin connectors, spade connectors,
banana plugs, and dual banana plugs.
Color-Coded: The speaker's binding posts are
color-coded (red/black) for easy identification between positive and
negative.
Mounting Options
Applications: The Alphas Series CLR1 can be used as
a center channel speaker, front speaker, or surround speaker.
Placement: The CLR1 loudspeaker can be positioned
horizontally or vertically.
Rubber Feet: The PSB CLR1 includes four self-adhesive rubber feet to
safely and securely place the speaker on a floor-stand or other AV furniture.
Wall Mounting: The PSB Alpha Series CLR1 provides
dual keyhole slots and a 1/4"-20 threaded insert to wall-mount the
speaker. In addition, four non-skid rubber bumpers are attached in the
corners so the speaker won't mar wall surfaces when the speaker is
mounted.
- Dual Keyhole Slots: The Alpha Series CLR1
speaker has two keyhole slots on the back panel to easily wall-mount
the speaker.
- 1/4"-20 Threaded Insert: The CLR1 also features
a single 1/4"-20 threaded insert to wall-mount the speaker using an
optional articulating bracket (sold separately).
