Works perfect. Nissan has proprietary plug that requires this adapter. Free with radio. Great reception.

Those reviews complaining about reception have some other problem, this is just an adapter.
Pros:
easy plug and play
Cons:
none

Antenna Adaptor, Simple and works

Written By RichardC, West Milford, NJ on Monday, April 08, 2013
Installed in a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

What can be said. the adapter works, connects properly to the Aftermarket stereo and the Bose Dual antenna connector in the Pathfinder. It is just what is needed.
Pros:
Works, connects easily, does what it is supposed to
Cons:
Motorola connector not as tight as desired. A short strip of electrical tape makes sure it won't work loose

Bose Nissan antenna adaptor

Written By Uncle Willie, Thomasville, GA on Wednesday, March 13, 2013
Installed in a 2003 Nissan Maxima
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The Nissan Bose installation uses a two wire antenna lead on the factory radio. The actual antennas are in the glass of the rear window of a Maxima. When hooked up with the flanges aligned, the radio got poor FM reception and no AM stations. I read a review on this site about reversing the connection, so I tried that, and now the FM works great and AM is unchanged. It's anybody's guess how the factory wires these antennas, and the Bose radio that was in my car has a Clarion label on it, but it was the very finest FM radio I've ever used. I never would have replaced it if it had an USB input so I could use my iPod. The new radio is a JVC KW-NT500HDT.
Pros:
It works, but it's not intuitive how to connect it.
Cons:
Ambiguous instructions

Works but...

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

it connected fine. from some of the reviews below I guess I can't complain. I've always heard that reception is diminished with aftermarket decks but wow. A lot of the stations are now almost inaudible. But then again the particular stereo purchased was not for it's radio awesomeness.
Pros:
connects and works as advertised
Cons:
reception diminished, might not be the adapter's fault but....

It wired BACKWARDS

Written By ChrisZeeshutterbug, Louisiana on Wednesday, January 02, 2013
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

After hooking up the stereo, and the antenna (with the adapter clip oriented properly) I got zero AM stations by scanning and one by manual tuning. OK, so I heard most aftermarket stereos are poor on AM. On FM all of the regular stations came in on scan fine, but no weaker stations at all. I drove around a few days like that, but after a second thought I did more reserch on the receiver and the antenna adapter. On on site I found a person who swore that thw antenna adapter on Nissans is wired backwards and works much better in reverse. OK, I was good at taking the dash apart now, so I went for it. it IS TRUE!. When the adapter is put in with the clip on the smooth side (backwards) I get 6 AM stations (still none on scan) and EVERY FM dial position has a station on it (with scan)!
Pros:
Works well when plugged in backwards
Cons:
Wired bacwards

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This was perfect for installing my new radio and the one I had was to short to allow the radio to come out further. Plus this was free when I purchased my Receiver.
Pros:
Long.
Cons:
Doesn't hold the connections secure. Use electrical tape to secure it to the connections.

This adapter doesn't seem applicable to my car and neither are there any instructions or explanations of it's use with my antenna and the Alpine radio I purchased from Crutchfield.
