Features

Woofers: The multi-layer mica matrix cone was developed to provide an extra light, yet rigid diaphragm to reproduce full, rich sound.

Surrounds: For durability and a smooth response, each woofer uses a rubber (synthetic) surround.

Midrange: Each speaker has a 1-5/8" paper cone midrange with a 0.7 ounce Strontium magnet.

Tweeters: Each speaker uses a 3/8" dome tweeter made from PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) film for crisp, clear highs.

Mounting: The speakers can be mounted in many standard 6-1/2" openings, 4-hole 6-1/2" openings, and 6-3/4" openings. Please check the Crutchfield Vehicle Selector to confirm fit.

Excellent performance for the money!!

At first glance I was very skeptical of these speakers. Pioneer has a great reputation for home stereo equipment and HU for cars but not so much for car speakers. I used these speakers to replace some blown Polks in my 2007 Harley Davidson Ultra. After replacing the Polks with these I was blown away by what I was hearing!! Every note was crystal clear and clean with excellent bass for a 6.5 speaker. I'm running a soundstream 520D amp pushing 100 RMS to these speakers and they don't appear to be working hard for 50 RMS speakers . I've had much more expensive speakers in my bikes over the years, JL, Focal, Polk, Alpine, etc. All excellent speakers! but for the value and the money you can't beat these on a motorcycle going down the road at 70 miles an hour. All bass is lost at that speed anyway. For all my Harley buddies who don't have 2 or 3 thousand dollars to put into a system .... Try these. They do not disappoint !!
Pros:
Amazing clarity and sound. Crystal clear at 70 miles an hour. Can't wait to see how the 4 way version sounds in my lower fairing!!
Cons:
My only concern is durability on a motorcycle , but I've been caught in a down pour twice and my speakers are still rockin like new!

Very close to factory ( good) not bad not great . If I had to do it again , I would have upgraded somehow. Very hard to buy something you have to hear when you can only see it . I'm going to move these to the back and upgrade my fronts.

Great speakers- excellent sound quality from highs to lows
Pros:
I am running these speakers off of a Sony head unit and the sound is significantly clearer and better than the factory speakers I initially had in the car. Also with the bluetooth function of my headunit the calls are clear and low tones and voices are much clearer and easily distinguishable. Well worth the money to have upgraded the speaker system in all 4 doors of my car

Slightly Better than Replaced Factory 2010 Honda Accord

I replaced the front and back 6.5" speakers in my 2010 Honda Accord with the TS-A1675R's. I'm a beginner at messing with electrical sound systems and installation was much easier than I thought, but much of that was to having the correct trim panel tools which I ordered from Crutchfield. The master sheets help, but those alone were not enough. Using the master sheets and viewing amateur videos on YouTube on how to remove the door panels helped out a lot. As for quality of the speakers? Right now I would say they are slightly better than the factory speakers I replaced. I still have the factory tweeters in place and am thinking of replacing those as well. I have a feeling that it may change the overall audio quality. As of now, if I focus on the sound coming out of the aftermarket speakers, I can tell they are more clear than the stock, but it takes a lot to make that determination. I also that the bass is not as strong coming out of these speakers as well. I'm not sure if I need to add an amplifier or go ahead and replace the stereo head unit at this point.

Cons:
Speakers sound alright when listening to the factory stereo, but when I change over to a CD or AUX it's as if the bass is nearly nonexistent. Didn't do that with the factory speakers.

I replaced my factory Toyota Tundra speakers with these 3-way speakers from Pioneer. I also installed the Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS head unit. The sound quality is great and Cruthfield made the install pretty easy.

In my 2008 Toyota Tundra, i had to modify the adapter brackets that Crutchfield provided, but overall still a pretty easy install.

Great sounding speakers especially for the high ranges. They sound great with my two 12's. the best part were these speakers were only a great price b/c they were in an open box. I only gave it 4 stars b/c Crutchfield forgot to put screws for the speakers in the box which made The instillation a little more challenging.

My order was processed and shipped UPS very quickly, especially for being during the month of Dec. The instillation pamphlet that was supplied was accurate and useful, which made an already simply job that much easier. Total install time for 4 speakers was 1.5 hrs. The speakers sound good for the money and blend well with an already installed sub woofer.
