by Woody Sherman

A must have for Nikon D600 enthusiasts, this battery grip from Nikon gives you extended shooting time plus increased comfort and balance as you snap photos. It attaches to the bottom of your D600, providing a convenient grip when holding the camera in the vertical position. It offers a shutter release button, front and rear command dials, and a joystick control for setting focus points. A grip is 100% necessary

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Wish it wasn't expensive, but I can't use my camera without a grip nowadays. Well put together and the extra battery definitely helps. Just wish it fit the contours of the body better. It's not bad, just could be better.
    Pros:
Extra battery, great build, evens out the camera body
    Cons:
    Expensive

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The MB-D14 grip really helps with the handling on the camera. Yes, it adds a little bulk, but it definitely improves the ergonomics and gives your pinky finger a place to rest. The portrait mode is much more comfortable to use too. As a casual shooter, I don't have the need for the second set of batteries in the grip, so I don't use them to keep the weight down. It's nice to know that I can use AA batteries if I need to without having to buy a second Nikon battery. This one fits better than the one on my D7000. There's no wobble to it at all. As always, great customer service by Crutchfield as well.
    Pros:
Great handling. Professional look and feel.

Nikon MB-D14 Battery Grip for Nikon D600 Camera

Written By JeffS, Alliance, Ohio on Monday, October 15, 2012
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Best fitting battery grip to date- although expensive and it doesn't make the camera shutter speed any faster, having the extra battery backup allows for hours of shooting. Another well made Nikon accessory!
    Pros:
Fit, power and shape allows for vertical shooting
    Cons:
    price
