Overview: The Terk FDTVO Omni-Directional Amplified Flat Digital
Outdoor Antenna is engineered to receive 1080 HDTV off-air broadcasts for
outstanding high-definition and clear digital TV reception.
Omni-Directional: The FDTVO's patented multi-directional reception
technology provides outstanding reception from any direction (360-degree
reception pattern), producing clear, clean signals from a compact, unobtrusive
design that blends well with any home decor.
Low Noise Amplifier: The FDTVO's extremely low noise (ELN) amplifier
provides high-gain pickup of further stations and improves picture quality
without saturating the signal.
Connection: The FDTVO Digital Flat Outdoor Amplified Antenna plugs
into your television using the supplied external amplifier. The included
external amplifier plugs into your television's RF coaxial input and then
connects to the antenna using RG-6 coaxial cable (sold separately). The external
amplifier also includes an AC power adapter which will need to be plugged into
an AC wall-outlet.
Indoor/Outdoor Mounting: The FDTVO's weatherproof, hermetically sealed
housing offers ultra-reliable performance. The FDTVO comes will all necessary
mounting hardware for flexible placement indoors or outdoors.
Note: The FDTVO usually performs best when mounted horizontally.
It should be mounted on the side of your house that faces most of your local
broadcast towers.
Mounting Bracket: The FDTVO's mounting bracket gives you the
flexibility in mounting the antenna. The FDTVO can be mounted to a surface, such
as a rooftop, eves, siding, or rafters in an attic. It can also be mounted to a
standard mast (sold separately).
