Bring satellite radio out by the pool, to the backyard, or to any room in the house with the Portable Speaker Dock — it works with most SIRIUS and XM Dock & Play radios, and you can either plug it in or run it on "C" batteries for maximum convenience.

The Portable Speaker Dock features a sleek design with touch-sensitive controls, plus a universal remote that'll let you control both SIRIUS and XM radios. You'll enjoy high-quality sound from the internal 30-watt amplifier, while a concealed handle makes the dock easy to transport.

You can put the built-in antenna on a windowsill when you're listening indoors, or attach it to the back of the speaker dock when you're outdoors. A built-in auxiliary input lets you play an iPod® or another MP3 player, and you can listen privately with your favorite headphones.

    Overview: The Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Portable Speaker Dock (SXABB1) lets you enjoy Sirius or XM Satellite Radio programming in your home, at the office, or on the deck through your compatible Sirius/XM Satellite Radio portable tuner (not included).

    Note: The Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Portable Speaker Dock (SXABB1) requires a compatible Sirius/XM Satellite Radio portable tuner (not included) with an active Sirius and/or XM subscription.

    Sirius/XM Compatibility: The Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Portable Speaker Dock (SXABB1) is compatible with select Dock & Play and Portable Sirius/XM Satellite Radio tuners. The portable speaker dock includes three radio dock adapters to connect your compatible Sirius/XM Satellite Radio tuner.

    • Sirius Radio Adapter: Sportster 5, Stratus 4/5/6, Starmate 3/4/5
    • XM Radio Adapter: OnyX, Xpress, XpressR, XpressRC, Xpress RCi, XpressEZ
    • XMp3i Radio Adapter: XMp3i, XMp3

    Note: Each adapter has a sticker affixed on the bottom which indentifies the model of Sirius Satellite Radio associated with the adapter (Sirius, XM, or XMp3i).

    Indoor/Outdoor Antenna: The Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Portable Speaker Dock (SXABB1) includes an external indoor/outdoor Sirius/XM antenna. The indoor/outdoor antenna features an attached 20' cable terminated by a SMB connector which plugs into the back of the portable speaker dock. The indoor/antenna features four integrated rubber feet to place it securely on a windowsill, desk, or table-top. The antenna also includes four integrated keyhole slots to wall mount it indoors or outdoors.

    Note: The four keyhole slots measure 1-3/8" (w) x 1-1/8" (h) apart.

    Stereo Sound: The Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Portable Speaker Dock (SXABB1) features a two-way speaker system and a powerful 30-watt amplifier for high-quality Satellite Radio sound. The portable speaker dock uses two high-frequency tweeters and two wide-range mid/bass drivers for dynamic sound with crisp highs and solid bass.

    Portability: The Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Portable Speaker Dock (SXABB1) features a concealed handle and built-in antenna cradle with a cable storage area for easier portability.

    Auxiliary Input: The Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Portable Speaker Dock (SXABB1) features a side-panel 3.5mm auxiliary input for connecting an external source, such as your portable MP3 player or CD player.

    Headphone Output: The Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Portable Speaker Dock (SXABB1) features a side-panel 3.5mm headphone output for connecting a set of headphones for private listening. When headphones are connected the unit's built-in speakers are muted.

    Touch Controls: The Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Portable Speaker Dock (SXABB1) features top-panel touch-sensitive controls, including Power, Volume, and Source.

    Remote Control: The Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Portable Speaker Dock (SXABB1) includes an IR remote control for wireless operation of the unit and your docked Sirius/XM Satellite Radio tuner.

    Power Requirements: The Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Portable Speaker Dock (SXABB1) will operate off of AC or battery power. The portable speaker dock operates off of standard household current using the included AC power supply and AC power cord. The unit also operates off of eight "C"-cell batteries (sold separately).

    I really enjoy the SiriusXM Portable Speaker Dock. It has a terrific sound and easy to set up. I use it on my back porch as a sound system for get togethers and pool parties. My wife wanted a a new radio for outside, we saw this item, liked it.

    Very good overall. Lightweight, convenient, easy to use.
    Pros:
    Improvement in sound quality from previous models.
    Cons:
    Touch-volume control is cumbersome. Lighting and display are good, but cannot be dimmed low enough. Would like to see headphone jack on front instead of the side.

    This product works great. The features are cool. The long antenna makes it nice if you have the radio in a place where you can't get a signal, you can extend antenna without having to move the radio. Product is not overpriced.

    Easy setup, very good sound for 15watts RMS per channel, easy to carry with built in finger hold, and also works with batteries for use on the beach. I am using it around the pool. The remote works well and the antenna can be positioned easily with the long cord. I have also used the coaxial out jack with a digital to analog adapter for better sound on a friends outdoor movie projector. The dock also has an auxiliary input jack for I Pod/Pad input. This device allows me to maximize the use of my portable SiriusXM receiver and I Pod Touch.

    This is a great product. My XM-ready home theater system quit working and I bought this product along with an OnyX radio. It is virtually plug and play. Everything was working in about 15 minutes and that included the time it took to call XM and get the service activated. It you're a fan of satellite radio and are looking for a unit that works at home (as well as can be portable) this is the one.
