Features
Overview: The PAC (Pacific Accessory Corporation) uPAC-HY2 is a
multi-input media device compatible with Hyundai Santa Fe factory radios
equipped with an XM button. The 2 inputs will support any of the following
combinations: iPod/Auxiliary, iPod/HD Radio (HD Radio tuner sold separately), or
Auxiliary/HD Radio (HD Radio tuner sold separately). The uPAC-HY2 also fully
retains factory installed external Satellite Radio tuners and Rear Seat
Entertainment Systems.
Note: Theo optional HD Radio tuner is part number uPAC-HDRT (sold
separately, available from PAC).
Vehicle Compatibility: The uPAC-HY2 is compatible with Hyundai
2007-2008 Santa Fe factory radios with an XM button.
Note: Not compatible with Hyundai factory navigation radios or
radios that have an internal satellite radio tuner.
iPod/iPhone Compatibility: The uPAC-HY2 features an Apple iPod dock
connector for connecting select iPod's or iPhones to your 2007-2008 Sante Fe
factory radio. The connected iPod can be operated from the factory
radio or steering wheel controls, as well as from the iPod's clickwheel or
touchscreen. The uPAC-HY2 supports iPod/iPhone audio
playback, control (Play/Pause/Skip/Search), browsing
(Playlist/Artist/Genre/Album/Composer), display information (Song/Artist), and
charging. The PAC uPAC-HY2 is "Made for iPod/iPhone" compatible and supports the
following iPod/iPhone model features when connected to a compatible Hyundai
factory radio as of October 2011:

Note: Apple iPod/iPhone software updates may change
functionality results. If you download a newer software version, you may
need to reset the factory radio and your iPod/iPhone to regain
functionality. If this doesn't work, you may need to revert to the older
software version or wait until an newer software update is available.
iOS 4.0 Note: This product is not compatible with iPhone or
iPod touch running iOS 4.0 or above.
Auxiliary Input: The uPAC-HY2 features a female stereo RCA input and a
right-angle male 3.5mm stereo minijack connector for connecting an external
source such as a portable digital audio player or the optional HD Radio tuner
(uPAC-HDRT, sold separately).
