Overview: The Rockford Fosgate M262-Wake wakeboard tower speaker
system contains two sealed enclosures made of high density poly-ethylene, each housing
one 6-1/2" woofer and one 1" tweeter. They are designed to attach to your
boat's wakeboard tower using the included hardware. Both the speakers and enclosures
are treated with UV inhibitors and conform to UV and Salt-Fog industry standards.
Drivers: The 6-1/2" woofers use injection molded, mineral
filled polypropylene cones and TPE (Thermo-Plastic Elastomer) surrounds. This molding
process assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity. It is
also light weight and rigid for decreased distortion and improved bass response.
The 1" aluminum dome tweeters are bridge mounted, useful in a marine speaker
because no opening through the middle of the woofer for the mounting post is needed.
Mounting: The M262-Wake speakers use adjustable cast aluminum
mounting clamps, designed to fit wakeboard tower tubes from 1-1/2" to 2-3/4"
diameter. Once the speakers are in place, but before the brackets are tightened, you
can adjust the mounting angle. After mounting, the speakers can still swivel almost
ICC Crossover: The ICC (Integrated Concealed Crossover) protects
the crossover by concealing it inside the basket. The crossover is 12 dB/octave high
pass, 6 dB/octave low pass, and has an integrated tweeter protection circuit.
