Video: Powerbeats by Dr. Dre sports headphones
So I've been trying out these Powerbeats headphones from Monster, and for sports they're right on cue. What I like about them, besides the sound quality, of course, is the fit. They've got these adjustable ear hooks, and when you put them on your ears they lock into place. They're not heavy. They don't feel like you're constricted. They don't weigh you down. They're just there.
And these guys come with an in-line remote so you can volume up. You can play. You can pause. You can make/receive phone calls. So when you're on the treadmill or whatever you're doing when you use these headphones, you're not going to have to go and find your device, answer that phone call, adjust the volume, you know, whatever you need to do, it's not going to slow you down.
So the sound is exactly what you would expect from Monster — good, clear highs, crisp mids. What they've actually done is make it.you get a separate woofer, so the bass is pounding loud and clear. So when you're on the treadmill, you're running down the road, you've got that extra beat to keep you going. You're going to keep your momentum going the whole time.
But what I also like about these is they have natural sound isolation. So what does that mean? It means you're not gonna hear the person next to you. You aren't going to hear them grunting on the treadmill or trying to lift those heavy weights. You're not going to hear those people that are talking when you're walking down the road or whatever you're doing. However you use these, you're gonna be in your own world enjoying your music.
