Features
Overview: The Energizer Recharge CHDCWB-4 Compact Charging
Kit features a portable, compact "travel size" Ni-MH battery charger with
foldable plug and comes supplied with 4 "AA" 2300 mAh Ni-MH rechargeable
batteries. The charger has a tray that slides in and out, and the prongs of the
AC plug fold inward for easy storage.
Charger Operation: The Ni-MH
portable battery charger will charge "AA" Ni-MH batteries up to 2650mAh and "AAA"
Ni-MH batteries up to 1000mAh. It can charge up to 4 Ni-MH batteries at once
with 700mA of charging current. The estimated charging times are:

Indicator Icons: The charger has 4 battery icons on the top,
each with 2 LEDs, to indicate the charging status for each battery
independently. While charging, the icons will blink, initially with one, then
two LEDs over time to indicate charging progress. When fully charged, the
battery icon will glow solid color. If the battery is bad, the icon will rapidly
flash both LEDs.
Automatic Shut-Off: The charger's
automatic shut-off feature turns off the charging current to prevent
overcharging the batteries. Therefore, batteries will not be damaged if
left in the charger for a longer time.
Reverse Polarity Protection: This feature
guards the charger and batteries from damage if batteries are inserted
incorrectly.
Universal Voltage: The charger features a
universal AC plug that will work with 100 to 240 (50/60Hz) AC voltage.
4 Supplied Ni-MH Batteries: The Energizer Recharge 1.2V
Nickel Metal Hydride "AA" rechargeable batteries are rated at 2300mAh, lasting
up to 4 times longer in digital cameras, compared to Energizer MAX alkaline
batteries. They also hold more charge after 12 months, and can be charged up to
250 more times than previous Energizer rechargeable batteries (AA, 2450 mAh).
