Gorgeous looking furniture. Looks great below my wall mounted 64" Samsung and looks like they were made for each other in terms of width. Very sturdy and well made. Perfect instance in which you get what you pay for, hence the pretty hefty price compared to a lot of other furniture. However, I am now a fan of BDI and am going to purchase more of their pieces because I'm so impressed with this one. Set up is a breeze but like mentioned in the other review, it's at least a two (strong) person job and lay something down when you put on the base/wheels. The base has wheels that makes shifting this very smooth and easy, definite plus for when you need to change components or even just the initial set up. Shelves are adjusted very easily. I don't even use the panels in the back to let as much air through as possible and you can't even tell (visually), the smoke glass helps with that and also looks very modern. Only issue is the DVD storage, though very attractive, does not fit most DVD's with large boxes such as TV seasons; and the DVD storage, though much more than I expected, is still limited. I didn't count but probably around 50 movies. Still, that was a bonus for me as I was not looking for that feature and this piece is exactly what I was looking for. Modern looking, taller than a "lowboy", wide to accommodate the width of my 64" plasma, glass sliding doors so remotes can still work but hide components and well built. I couldn't have asked for more.

Expensive, but good quality, works well.
Strengths:
+all real wood except for rear panels, which are made of a hard, very good quality fiberboard
+Pretty low sheen cherry finish on wood, easily touched up with a furniture marking pen
+easy to assemble; the main cabinet is fully assembled, but you have to assemble the base with the wheels, easily done, with necessary tools included, clear instructions, and takes about a half hour. However, it is a two person job. Be sure to put something clean and soft on the floor so you don't scratch the top when you turn it over to install the base with the wheels.
+nice adjustable shelves, nice bottom center drawer for DVDs, nice venting of the shelves.
+easily holds multiple pieces of equipment and lots of DVDs.
+Sliding glass doors work well with high quality rollers and a ball bearing catch to hold them in the closed position; smoky glass on the doors allows the remote to work and hides from view any mess behind them, but be sure nothing sticks out to get hit by the doors.
Weaknesses:
-if you put DVDs, standing upright, so you can read the titles, in the lower inside shelf area on either side of the center drawer, and then adjust the shelf above it to do the same, you end up with a top inside shelf that is pretty small and not very useful.
-If you install the back panels, there is not a lot of room in the slots in the panels for cables. I decided to not use one of the back panels.
