    These were easy to use and I only had one come apart but once I twisted it more firmly, it wasn't a problem.

    I was unable to get these pins to twist onto Monster XP cable sufficiently to hold. Ended up not using them.

    Don't work as advertised with Monster Cable.

    Not a fan, but the only reason I bought these was because someone told me I should buy a Monster speaker selector to protect my receiver. Monster being Monster, they make things that require you to buy other Monster things for the original thing to work. That being said, the banana clips were required to connect the speaker wire to the speaker selector. They were a pain to hook up, then I discovered that the sound channels weren't properly distributed throughout the speakers (i.e. center channel sound was sent through all the speakers, not solely the center channel). So I disconnected the entire speaker selector and ran the speaker wire straight into the receiver. So if anyone wants to buy a Monster 6 speaker selector box, I have one for sale that is pretty much brand new.

    These connectors, because of the slip-on insulators, are good for connecting speaker wire into the close amplifier speaker outlets. The "twist-on" did bite into my 14 gauge speaker wire (be sure to twist the wire and the pin counter-clockwise) and does get a good electrical connection. My complaint is that the connector holds to only about 1 pound of pull. In fitting into tight spaces, it would be easy to pull one loose. I'd prefer an insulated connector with a more positive connection to the wire.

    These are junk. I was using 12 gauge speaker wire. The wire just does not stay tight in these connectors. They also are a pain to screw down on the speaker posts.

    I took them off my wires and will just thread the wire in the posts and screw the posts down.

    Just strip the tips of the speaker cable, and then twist these on. You can
    remove if you need to shorten the cable run in the future. Fits onto Original
    Monster Cable.
