Overview: The AcceleVision ZHD9X-SD mobile video system
contains two replacement vehicle headrests with 9" LED backlit LCD video
monitors & DVD players built-in. Each headrest monitor also features an A/V
output, A/V input, USB (type-A) port, SD-card slot, built-in IR & FM
transmitters, as well as headphone output. Two IR remotes and 4 game controllers
are included.
Dual Headrests: The AcceleVision ZHD9X-SD mobile video
system includes two padded vehicle headrests (black, grey, tan vinyl shrouds
included). The headrests include through-the-post wiring to make it easy to
install the wire in your car seats. The headrest posts are approximately 6.75"
in length, with adjustable spacing to accommodate your vehicle's headrest post
opening (between approximately 5.25" & 7.375"). The diameter of steel tubes are
10mm, but can be adjusted to 12mm using the included post adapters (already
installed).
Note: The integrated monitor & DVD player have to be removed to
adjust the mounting poles. The poles come spaced 5.25" apart out of the box.
Headrest Tilt: Once installed, the headrests can be tilted
approximately 15° for the best viewing angle.
9" Widescreen Monitors: Each headrest features an integrated
9" widescreen (16:9) TFT LCD high-resolution monitor with LED backlight
technology. The 9" widescreen monitor has a resolution of 640 x RGB x 234 ;
totaling 449,280 pixels.
Built-in DVD Players: Each headrest monitor is equipped with
a built-in DVD player. The DVD player is located behind the integrated 9"
widescreen monitor. The monitor flips open to access the DVD player. The DVD
player supports playback of DVD-Video, DVD-R/RW, VCD, CD-Audio, CD-R/RW (MP3)
discs.
SD-Card Slot: Each headrest monitor features a
front-panel SD-card slot for playback of music, movie, and picture files stored
on a SD memory card.
USB Port: Each headrest monitor features a front-panel
mini-USB (type-A) port for playback of music, movie, and picture files stored on
a USB thumbdrive or USB (MSC) device.
Game Controllers: The AcceleVision ZHD9X-SD mobile video
system comes with 4 wired game controllers and two game discs. The game controllers connect to the
two mini-USB (type-B) ports on the front of each headrest monitor.
A/V Input: Each headrest monitor has a single A/V input,
which consists of a composite video & stereo audio RCA jacks wired though on of
the mounting posts (using the supplied A/V cable).
A/V Output: Each headrest monitor features a composite
video/stereo RCA output which lets you link the two monitors together or connect
an additional monitor. The A/V output is wired through one of the mounting posts
(using the supplied power/ground/signal cable).
Headphone Output: Either wired or wireless headphones can be
used with the AcceleVision ZHD9X-SD. Each headrest monitor has a 3.5mm headphone jack
below the screen, and each has a dual channel wireless IR transmitter built-in.
Two sets of earbud headphones are included. Wireless headphones sold separately.
Built-in FM Transmitter: The AcceleVision ZHD9X-SD features a built-in
FM transmitter used to supply audio from the unit over RF frequency to your
factory head unit.
Remote Controls: Two IR remote controls are included for
wireless operation of each headrest monitor. Each remote operates off of a
single CR2025 3V Lithium battery (installed).
