Features
Overview: The BDI Novia 8428 Home Theater Stand will accommodate up to
a 55" flat panel or rear projection television and it's enclosed cabinet will
hold up to four audio/video components. Model 8428's
lower cabinet even integrates an independent gaming console station with wire
management. NOVIA modernizes this simple design with features that include
hidden wheels for easy access to the back, wire management to keep your home
theater neat and organized, and integrated ventilation to keep your components
operating at peak levels.
TV Shelf: The BDI Novia 8428 features a
tempered glass top TV shelf which is able to accommodate up to 55" flat panel
television up to 150 lbs. The stand's top TV shelf measures 52" wide x 22" deep
and places the television 29" from the floor.
Flip-Down Door Compartment: The Novia 8428
features a flip-down door compartment under the stand's TV shelf which can be
used to house a center-channel, two audio/video components, or used to store
your DVD/CD collection. The compartment measures 45.25" wide x 9" deep x 8.5" tall for a center channel or media. By removing a wood strip, the shelf will provide two compartments that are 21" wide and 16" deep to accommodate A/V components.
The shelf will hold up to 75 lbs.
Enclosed Cabinet: The Novia 8428 features an
enclosed cabinet which houses two adjustable shelves, two fixed shelves and a
gaming console compartment. The enclosed cabinet features two wooden doors with
see-through tempered glass inserts so your components IR commands will still
function.
- Adjustable/Fixed Shelves: The stand's
lower cabinet features two fixed shelves and two adjustable shelves which
allow you to configure the stand to accommodate larger components. The
maximum component depth for each shelf is 18.5". The two bottom fixed
shelves will hold up to 100 lbs each, while the two adjustable shelves will
hold up to 50 lbs each.
- Gaming Console Compartment: The stand's
lower cabinet also features a central area designed to accommodate vertical
format video game consoles. This are may also be used to store media such as
DVD and CD discs. The gaming compartment measures 5.25" wide x 13.25" tall x
16.5" deep.
Wire Management: The stand features an
integrated wire management system to keep your system's wires and cords neat,
organized and out of sight.
Ventilation: The stand's lower cabinet
feature's floor-through ventilation to promote air flow and to keep your
equipment running cool, prolonging your components' life.
Hidden Wheels: Hidden wheels make adding a
component or changing a connection easy. Even when the stand is fully loaded,
you can move your system away from the wall fro easy access to cables and
connections.
Levelers: There are adjustable levelers on
the bottom of the cabinet, which may be adjusted to allow the stand to rest flat
on your home's floor.
Colors: The stand is available in a natural stained cherry and cocoa
stained cherry finish.
