Features
Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm
(C.M.M.D.): Infinity's C.M.M.D. technology delivers accurate
performance with dramatically reduced distortion for incredibly lifelike sound.
Additionally, the C.M.M.D. drivers can withstand extreme temperatures, moisture,
humidity and sunlight.
Woofers: The 6- 1/2" C.M.M.D.
cone woofers virtually eliminate coloration due to cone flexing, resulting in
less distortion and superior accuracy. For a smoother response and improved
durability, each woofer uses a rubber surround.
Tweeters: Each speaker has a
3/4" C.M.M.D. dome tweeter that offers superior stiffness and damping
compared to traditional metal domes.
Waveguide Design: The ERS 210
incorporates a proprietary waveguide design to ensure smooth distribution of
sound throughout the listening area.
Paintable: The grilles and
flanges can be painted, allowing these speakers to match any decor.
Installation: Each speaker
requires a cutout 7.645" wide, 11.34" high and a depth of 2.664"
behind the drywall. Each speaker frame is 8.761" wide and 12.75" high.
Once the holes are cut, each speaker can be dropped in and the locking tabs can
be tightened, allowing you to secure each speaker to the drywall without any
extra assembly.
Note: For new construction,
you will need to purchase the optional ERS210RIF rough-in-frame kit (item 108210RIF).
