This universal holder features a sliding clamp that can be adjusted to fit and secure several sizes of portable device. You can also mount the miGrip with its adjustable clamps on the top and bottom or on the sides, depending on where your device's inputs and outputs are. The adjustable supports on the bottom of the mount accommodate several types of device power plugs.

The miGrip works with Pro.Fit universal or vehicle-specific mounts. Enter your vehicle information to see if a vehicle-specific mount is available. The miGrip's adapter plate installs easily on the Pro.Fit mount for a perfect fit.

    Features

    Overview: The Pro.Fit miGrip is designed to securely hold small handheld devices such as PDAs, iPods (standard size, photo, video, and mini), smart phones, or satellite radio receivers in your vehicle. It has adjustable grips to securely hold your device and a button for quick release.

    Positioning Options: The versatile miGrip can be positioned vertically with the grips on the sides or horizontally with the grips at the top and bottom to accommodate your device. Two support tabs can be placed at either end and repositioned to allow for plugs or cables.

    Adjustable Grips: The side grips can be adjusted so the miGrip can hold devices 2-3/8" to 3-1/4" wide and up to 4" tall. The grip pads are 3-3/8" apart at their widest adjustment and 2-1/4" at their narrowest adjustment. The miGrip is not recommended for devices more than 1" thick. The grips have soft rubber pads which cushion and hold your device without scratching the surface. Four rubber pads protect and cushion the back of the device as well. A button on the left side of the miGrip releases the device.

    Quick Release Adapter Plate: The miGrip comes with a quick release adapter plate which is designed to integrate with the Pro.Fit VSM (vehicle-specific mount) or VSM Legend. The miGrip is also compatible with the Pro.Fit UltiMount (042UL747BG), Loboy (042LB600), or WindowMate (042WM36) universal mounts. The adapter plate has 4 hooks that allow you to mount and remove the miGrip with ease. Hardware is included for attaching the adapter plate to a compatible mount.

    Adhesive Pad: If you do not have a VSM or VSM Legend, the miGrip can be attached to a clean, flat surface using the supplied dual-sided adhesive pad.

    Easy to Hold, Holds Well, and Flexible

    I'm very happy with the miGrip, which I'm using with the Pro-Fit WindowMate (suction type) mount. The miGrip works with both my Zune and my wife's ipod. It's easy to open and close and holds the players well. I've only had it a week, so I don't know how long the pads, springs, and release mechanism will hold up.

    I bought this with the Pro.Fit IF-71-03-L bracket. The combination is great! I chose to install the bracket using the screws, as another reviewer suggested. I chose this holder for my iPod because I have an aftermarket hard case, and didn't think a holder made specifically for my iPod would work. This one works great, and will also work with my wife's iPod! Very high quality product, and it looks like a factory part of the truck.

    Perfect for the big IPOD's and GREAT if your household has different models of IPOD's. Need to buy a bracket because the sticky tape that comes with it is worthless.
