Features
Overview: The monopod should be an important part of every
photographer's support equipment. Besides the tripod, the monopod is the best
way to hold a camera in situations where space is limited, the quantity and
weight of the equipment carried on location needs to be kept to a minimum, or
set-up speed is needed. Correctly handled, the monopod supplies all the camera
support you are likely to need even for long lenses.
Attaching Camera: Your camera's bottom-mount treaded insert simply
attaches directly to the Manfrotto monopod's top platform via a treaded post.
Construction: The Manfrotto monopod is constructed of durable, yet
lightweight aluminum, weighing only 0.64 lbs. The lightweight aluminum monopod
will support up to 2.20 lbs.
5 Leg Sections: The Manfrotto monopod consists of 5 leg sections which
can independently be extended and locked into place using the four integrated
plastic clamps. When fully collapsed the monopod measures 15.375" tall. When
full extended the monopod measures 57.75" tall. The monopod's top leg extension
extends the monopod by 9.375". The monopod's middle leg extensions extends the
monopod by 10.25" and 11". And the monopod's bottom leg extension extends the
monopod by 11.75".
Rubber Handle and Hand-Strap: In addition to the Manfrotto monopod's
sure-grip rubber handle the monopod features an adjustable nylon hand-strap.
Warranty: The Manfrotto monopod comes with a 2 Year Limited Warranty
right out of the box. You can receive an additional 3 Year Limited Warranty by
registering the Manfrotto monopod online or by mail, giving you a 5 Year Limited
Warranty on the monopod.
