I've tried 2 8" w0 JL's, A 10" Dayton Audio RSS265HF, a Kicker comp 10" and 2 Kicker comp 12" It's no comparison. You get good punchyness but still gets low. I don't listen to music so loud that people can hear me a mile away so if you are looking for attention go buy a JL or some other High Output sub. This sub is musical and it brings my tunes to life. I listen to a variety of music from the Philharmonic Orchestra to Dillinja, this sub is perfect for all of it! Pros: Sounds fantastic! size, shape, and craftsmanship. Cons: Quite pricey.
