Energy Star
Compliant: This TV meets Energy Star guidelines for Energy Efficiency
Digital Comb
Filter: The digital comb filter compares horizontal scanning lines within the video frame and
makes adjustments to purify the image, resulting in a clearer image.
Speed Surf: This feature changes channels rapidly when Ch+ is pressed and held.
Velocity
Modulation Scanning: Velocity modulation scanning varies the beam scanning rate during Light-to-Dark
(and vice-versa) transitions, which helps preserve picture sharpness and clarity.
Auto Volume:
The automatic
volume control stabilizes volume when changing channels.
Closed Captioning: You can select CC, Text, or XDS.
Video Labeling:
You can select from a choice of preset labels for each video input (DTV/Receiver/Web/DVD/SAT/GAME/LD/BETA/8mm/VHS).
Video Modes:
You can select on of the following video modes: Vivid, Movie, or Standard.
XDS: Extended Data Service provides network name, program name and
time of show if offered by provider.
Parental Control:
Parental Control employs a user-selected 4-digit password to block programs from children based on TV Ratings
and contents; Movie Ratings and Unrated programs. Note that the unit has three
preselected categories (Child, Youth, and Young Adult), or you can select the exact
restrictions you want by using a Custom setting. After setting Parental
Control "On", you must enter the password to view blocked programs. Note
that if the customer forgets the password, they can enter the master password of 4357, which
allows them to create a new password.
Screen Menu Language:
You can select English or Spanish as the screen menu language.
Channel Fix:
This feature fixes
the unit to channel 3 or 4 (for use with a cable box), or Video input.
