Features
Overview: The Sanus LR1A in-wall box is designed exclusively
for use with the Sanus VisionMount MF215 TV wall-mount bracket
(051MF215,
sold separately). It holds the bracket securely inside the recess of the wall,
allowing the TV to be mounted close to the wall for a flush appearance.
Note: The MF215 is compatible with 15"
to 37" displays, but to cover the recessed housing, the
LR1A should only be used with 32" to 37" displays.
Weight Limitations: The combined weight of the monitor and
adjustable arm wall mount must not exceed 60 lbs.
Installation: The LR1A fits snugly in the space between two
standard 16" studs and is securely held in place with heavy-duty lag screws.
After the box is leveled, the six supplied, finger-adjustable Quick Shim fasteners
hold the box in place while you drive the lag screws through the hollow Quick Shims
and securely into the studs. The wall mount brackets (sold separately) mount to the
backplate of the in-wall box using the supplied brackets and hardware. The mount is
recessed approximately 3-1/2" from the wall surface, and allows the TV to
retract close to the wall.
Note: You must first make certain the
area behind the mounting surface is free of electrical wires,
cables, and plumbing before cutting, drilling, or installing
the mounting screws. Failure to do so could result in serious
personal injury or death.
Cable Management: The box includes knockout panels on the top
and bottom for routing power and signal cables inside the walls along the studs
and through the knockouts. There is also a knockout and pre-drilled screw holes
for a standard J-box so you can install electrical service for the TV inside the
wall.
