Features
Groove: This
feature gives you more powerful sound with reinforced bass.
Preset EQ: This system has
Rock, Pop, Jazz and Movie presets, allowing you to optimize the sound effects
depending on the source you are using. The Movie preset should be used for
soundtracks and special listening situations, while the other presets can be
used for standard music sources. The EQ can also be set to flat.
Surround Mode: The
surround mode widens the stereo effect to simulate surround sound from just two
speakers.
Sleep Timer:
The sleep timer switches the system off after a specified amount of time. The
sleep timer can be set to 0-90 minutes in 10 minute increments.
Daily Timer:
You can use the daily timer as an alarm clock to wake up to a cassette, a CD or
the radio. Once the timer is active, it will operate everyday at the set time.
Timer-Recording:
Once daily, you can record from a preset radio station to the cassette deck. The
timer allows you to specify a start and stop time.
AM/FM Intervals: FM
tuning is done in 0.1MHz steps and AM tuning is done in 9kHz or 10 kHz steps.
CD Compatibility:
This unit will play prerecorded CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, or MP3 CDs.
Note:
This unit can play 3-1/2" CDs but cannot store them.
MP3 Playback:
This unit will play MP3 files recorded onto CD-R and CD-RW discs using the ISO
9660 level 1/level 2, Joliet or Romeo formats. Each disc can have a maximum of
150 albums and the unit will play no more than a combined total of 300 albums
and tracks.
Tape Playback: This
unit allows you to play Type I (Normal) tapes.
Recording: Using
a Type I (Normal) tape in the cassette deck, you can record from a CD, the
radio, or a connected component.
Speaker
Design: Each speaker uses a
3/4" poly semi-dome tweeter, 2" paper cone midrange, and a 4-3/4"
poly cone woofer. Each enclosure has a front-firing port for improved bass
response.
Dimmer:
You can choose from 4 levels of
display brightness.

Speaker Outputs: This
unit has left and right spring clip speaker terminals that can accept bare wire
and pin connectors. Speakers with an impedance of 6-16 ohms are recommended for
this unit.
