Works great, no complaints at all. They do what they're supposed to loud and clear. Preferably with an amp but right from the stereo worked fine too just don't give it too much bass they're not supposed to handle bass.

I go two of these speakers a few months ago and couldnt be more pleased with their performance. I put them in my 86 Nissan 720 Hardbody in separate boxes and they sound absolutely great for the price. I looked and couldnt find a better deal from such a quality audio company.

Significantly better than the factory's entry-level 2-ohm 25W rear speakers, which are constructed with a half-dollar-size magnet, paper woofer and a cardboard whizzer cone. Simple drop-in replacement as the 6994's matched the factory screw holes exactly.

These 6x9's produce a bass that is deep and distinct, with no hint of being boomy, and the highs are crisp and crystal-clear. I haven't cranked them up because they aren't broken in yet but what I did try just yielded louder audio with no loss of fidelity, and without any distortion or breaking up. BTW, these rears are mated to a 22-watt Kenwood KDC-BT952HD head-unit. I don't think I'll need an external amp or sub to get great sound.

The wiring diagram in the 2010 Altima Factory Service manual doesn't indicate which speaker connections are positive or negative, and the speakers aren't marked in any way. After searching through the Altima forums on-line, I found and used the following:

- Rear speaker RH: Pink (-), Brown (+). - Rear speaker LH: Brown (-), Light Green (+).

Kenwood supplied some speaker wire with female spade connectors attached but the wire is a pretty skimpy gauge. I used only about 4 inches of it, so maybe no harm done.

These are great upgrade speakers and at $79.00 a pair (with discount) they're a steal.
