You put some good bass in your car, but now your speakers just aren't hanging with your subs. Kicker designed their KS Series speakers to deliver the performance you need to bring that "live music" experience to your ride.

The KS35 3-1/2" 2-way speakers use heavy-duty polypropylene cones supported by Santoprene rubber surrounds. Each speaker sports a 1/2" balanced dome tweeter that broadcasts plenty of high-frequency sparkle, so you'll hear all the sonic details that make your tunes exciting.

Features

Polypropylene Woofer Cones: The Kicker KS-series speakers feature durable polypropylene woofer cones for power and control. Polypropylene is also resistant to moisture and high temperature extremes found in automotive applications.

Santoprene Surrounds: The woofer surrounds are made of Santoprene rubber to allow extended cone excursion for additional bass output and higher SPL. Santoprene is durable and resists moisture for a long life.

Balanced Dome Tweeters: The 1/2" PEN (Polyethylene Naphthalate) balanced dome tweeters provide a smooth high frequency response with a wide dispersion pattern. The tweeters have strong neodymium magnets for higher power handling.

Kicker KS35 - front dash

I installed them in my Chrysler 300 and it really cleaned up the front sound...lots more detail and cleaner highs (than factory speakers...of course), and this is just with the factory deck. I'll be running slightly more power to them soon along with some 200hz high pass filters to those and the front door speakers...they won't hit low bass but then I don't expect them to
Pros:
clean sound, sparkly highs, easy to install in my dash (just a grill to remove), and I got them on sale about 25% off regular price
Cons:
crutchfield didn't include the wire harness for these as they're not available...so it took a few extra min to solder and shrink tube it (but it did allow me to try out my new solder gun)

These speakers were truly amazing. I did not expect the power and sound qualities that they had. I put them into my 1986 Oldsmobile, and they fit perfectly, thanks to the wires that I received for free. They fit so nice and sound so good compared to the other ones that I will most likely be buying the new speakers for the back as well.
Pros:
Everything was great.
Cons:
Sadly my car had a faulty wire going from the connection to the speaker to the hub, but the other speaker sounds good enough and is loud enough to cover for the loss. I am not experienced enough to replace this cable so to bad that's life, and I should expect something bad to happen when I buy the car for $600 bucks.

Great sound but questionable quality

Good punch and clarity resulting in solid stereo image across entire pan. Don't fool yourself into thinking you're going to get any real Bass out of 3.5" speakers, but they compliment the rear 6"x9"s very well, picking up just below where the 'big boys' leave off, and creating just enough frequency overlap to smooth out the overall mix (the way a well-tuned crossover does). Having said all that, one of mine has developed a standing wave (really gnarley buzz!) after only 10 days while being driven by a Delco stereo that puts out a little over half of the Kickers rated power handling capability. Assuming that's a fluke, I give them a solid 4 stars for performance-for-the-price. I am, however, VERY dissapointed in the 10 day service life I got from my pair! - DLS

Punch, clarity and aesthetics.
Cons:
Made in China! Didn't know that. Would have looked elsewhere if I had.

Provide fantastic sound, no complaints whatsoever. The magnet is rather large for a 3 1/2" speaker but not so massive that I couldn't get it to easily fit in my 03' Dodge Neon.

Warning: speakers do not come with a mounting template--you'll just have to trace something out for custom installs. Solidly built--I'm sure these guys will last a long time. They're the only speakers in my old pickup, but they are still quite effective. Definitely recommend them as an add-on/replacement. Plus, if you don't need rattling windows, they do just fine on their own.

I unfortunately can't give a real rating to this product because they did not fit as indicated so I never actually heard them. There were two main faults for this install. One, the magnet was to big to pass through the factory opening in the door panel. So, using a rotatory tool I enlarged to hole. Second, after I enlarged the opening the speaker was in fact to deep and hit the window when is was put down. What a shame I really like Kicker and they were at a great price. I sent these back and ordered a set of Retro-Sound R-352N (reviewed separately.)

WOW....what a huge diffrence! Before you upgrade door speakers, replace dash
speakers with these. You wont need to spend any more money. I replaced door
speakers with Alpine S 6x9 first. These kickers have better mids and highs. Alot
cheaper too.
