Features

Overview: The Artison SoundBar (SB-1) is a 3-channel (Left, Center, and Right) passive LCR loudspeaker which delivers the left, center, and right audio information from your AV surround sound system out of a single speaker. The SoundBar has an overall height under 4-inches and performs very well for movies and music soundtracks. This slim three-channel solution can easily mount to your flat-panel TV or sit in front of your plasma or LCD television without blocking the screen. A custom grille (sold separately) that matches the color and width of your television is available, allowing the SoundBar to blend in aesthetically.

Mounting: The Artison SoundBar is designed to attach directly to many flat-panel display 37" (diagonal) or larger, whether the flat-panel uses a table-top stand or is wall-mounted; using the supplied hardware. The SoundBar can be mounted either above or below the flat-panel display and is made to blend aesthetically through the use of a custom made grille (sold separately) that matches the width and color of your flat-panel television. The SoundBar's mounting bracket can also be used as a table-top stand to sit the SoundBar in front of your flat-panel TV. The mounting-bracket features a foam-padded bottom to protect your TV stand, cabinet, or shelf. In addition, the SoundBar can be mounted directly to the wall with the appropriate hardware (not supplied).

Note: SoundBar Grilles (sold separately) are available to match the width and complement the color of select flat-panel displays from 37" (diagonal) and above. Please check Crutchfield's "Artison Custom Grille Finder" for your television's custom SoundBar grille. No grille is included with speaker.

Enclosure: The Artison SoundBar features a black anodized aluminum cabinet. The SoundBar utilizes a bass-reflex enclosure design with 3 front-firing ports for added bass response and efficiency.

Drivers: The Artison SoundBar features six 3" MMAG woofers, three 1" silk dome-tweeters, and two 1" stage tweeters. The stage-tweeters positioned on each end of the SoundBar provide an off-axis effect for the front-channels. The Left, Center, and Right speaker sections of the SoundBar are divided as follows.

• Left: two 3" MMAG woofers, 1" silk dome-tweeter, and 1" stage tweeter
• Center: two 3" MMAG woofers and 1" silk dome-tweeter
• Right: two 3" MMAG woofers, 1" silk dome-tweeter, and 1" stage tweeter

Low Reluctance Return Path and Multiple Air Gap Technology:  Low Reluctance Return Path and Multiple Magnetic Air Gap Technologies were used to design the Mid Bass/Mid Range Drivers of the Artison SoundBar. These technologies allow the use of small diameter 3-inch drivers with a very long linear throw of a 1/2-inch to deliver very high quality full-range sound.

• Low Reluctance Return Path: redirects the magnetic flux to help the tiny woofers reproduce lower frequencies
• Multiple Magnetic Air Gap: uses extra spaces in the motor and a shorter voice coil to reduce the overall mass of the motor and increase the speakers' efficiency

Speaker Connections: The Artison SoundBar will require three discrete audio signal from an external multi-channel amplifier. The Artison SoundBar features three pair of gold-plated spring-post terminals (Left, Center, and Right). The speaker wire gauge required is depending upon wire length run; 16 Gauge is suggested as the minimum size.
