Features

Overview: The Monster Inspiration headphones are stylish, over-ear headphones with passive and active noise cancellation. Inspiration headphones have interchangeable headband covers so you can match your mood or style. The headphones come with three 50" cables: a mini-to-mini, one with ControlTalk, and one with ControlTalk Universal.

Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): The Monster Inspiration headphones use dual microphones to pick up and electronically cancel ambient noise, leaving powerful, full-range audio, and prevent your music from disturbing others. Active noise cancellation is powered by two AAA alkaline batteries (included) inserted in the right earcup. Fully charged alkaline batteries provide approximately 40 hours of active noise cancellation. You can turn on/off ANC using the 2-way switch on the right earcup. Even when not using ANC, the pillow-soft leather earcups give form the perfect seal to help isolate ambient noise.

Interchangeable Headbands: The Inspiration headphones were designed with magnetic, interchangeable headbands to allow you to switch to a different look when you want. Two headbands are included with the headphones, and dozens of other colors and styles are available from the Monster Cable website.

Cable Selection: Three headphone cables are included with the headphones. All cables are flat, 50" long, and have a straight 3.5mm plug on one end (headphone) and a right-angled 3.5mm plug on the other end (device). Their functions include:

• ControlTalk: The cable with the ControlTalk remote/microphone is designed for use for use with iPod, iPhone, and iPad. Playback controls include play/pause, next/previous track, fast forward/fast reverse, and volume +/-. Phone controls include answer call, hang up call, decline incoming call, use call waiting, and use voice activation features. See the ControlTalk compatibility list here.
• ControlTalk Universal: Another cable with the ControlTalk Universal remote/microphone is designed for use with Android, tablets, and other devices. Playback and phone controls are more limited than those of Apple i-devices. See the ControlTalk Universal compatibility list here.
