Many award-winning sound-off competitors put their mid-woofers and tweeters in custom-built kick panel enclosures to get concert-quality stereo imaging. But why pay hundreds of dollars to an installer when you can do it yourself? Just mount your 6-1/2" component system in Q-Logic's Q-Forms kick panel enclosures, and your car speakers will deliver competition-quality imaging without the expensive price tag.

Q-Forms enclosures hold your speakers in an ideal position, angling them to maximize sound quality. Since the Q-Forms are located near your feet, the distance from your ears to each speaker becomes closer to equal, creating a superior soundstage. The driver's seat becomes the "sweet spot" for great stereo sound. Warranty: 1 year.

Note: The Q-Forms do not come with pre-cut holes, so you must cut holes in order to install your component speakers in the enclosures. Installing the Q-Forms panel enclosures in your vehicle may require relocation of the parking brake pedal or other vehicle parts. Product Overview: Q-Logic C-Series Q-Form custom kick panels are designed to hold a 2-way component speaker system consisting of a woofer up to 6-1/2" and a tweeter (up to 2" diameter). They are fabricated of durable ABS plastic, color matched to the factory interior colors, and directly replace the factory kick panels. The positioning and angle of the speakers provide optimum stereo imaging and staging.

No Grilles: Because no grilles are included with the Q-Forms, you must use the grilles supplied with the component system. In some cases, the grille could slightly overlap the mounting surface for the woofer. In this case the cutout can be made so any overlap occurs at the back bottom edge where it will not be visible. Note: One of the included installation guides states that 2 Q-grilles are included. That is not the case for the C-series Q-Forms.

Compatibility: These Q-Forms are designed to fit select 1978-1991 Chevrolet and GMC Full-size Pickups, Blazers, Jimmys, and Suburbans. Note: For each specific vehicle, please verify compatibility with the Crutchfield Car Selector.

Factory Colors: These kick panels match the factory Dark Blue interior trim. The Q-Forms are also available in Medium Cognac, Dark Red, Medium Dark Gray, and Black.

Installation Notes

Installation Overview: You will need to cut out the mounting holes in the designated areas of the plastic Q-Form. A roll of foam tape is provided for sealing the woofer in the kick panel. The tweeter can be flush or surface mounted. Giving exact mounting depths is not possible, since it will depend to some extent on the space available behind the factory kick panel.

Suburban kick panels

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I wanted to put better speakers in my 'burban and thought these would be an easy
way to do it. The basic concept is sound but there are some major issues with
install. The biggest problem is e-brake interference. Installed over the top
of the stock kick panels and 6 1/2 speakers the pedal won't clear the speaker.
I ended up removing the OEM kick panel and installing 5 1/4 speakers mounted low
in the enclosure to get the clearance needed. The passenger side installed with
only minor issues. The Infinity speakers I installed sound awesome but I'm not
sure I would do it again. If Q-Forms would make the enclosures narrower or move
the speaker mount lower these would be great.

This product is good. Sturdy, Mounting holes are in the right place. I am very pleased with the kick panels that I purchased. I get a lot of comments on how they look. The sound quality is more than fair when installed with the poly fill. I wish they made them for 60's & 70's muscle cars. The only problem is that the speaker holes are not pre drilled.
