Overview: The Bose Virtually Invisible 791 In-Ceiling Speakers deliver
wide-coverage for your music and movie soundtracks. Virtually Invisible 791
speakers are engineered to reproduce lifelike sound with more spaciousness,
detail and depth than conventional in-ceiling speakers. Each in-ceiling speaker
is equipped with a 7" woofer and two 1" tweeters. The 791-series speakers offer
simplified installation with only four clamp-screws, and grilles that twist
easily into place. Its flush-mount design blends seamlessly into the ceiling.

Stereo Everywhere Speaker
Performance: Stereo Everywhere speaker
performance produces balanced stereo sound over a wide area, unlike
conventional home audio speakers that radiate sound mostly in a single
direction. Bose Stereo Everywhere speaker performance delivers sound evenly
throughout the listening area for balanced stereo sound wherever you listen, not
just in one "sweet spot.
Drivers: The combination of two 1" dome tweeters and a 7"
high-excursion woofer provides spacious stereo sound for your favorite music.
You will also enjoy the deep low notes of dramatic movie sound effects. This
makes 791 speakers ideal for a rear-channel option in a home theater setup. The
tweeters are strategically positioned to eliminate the need to aim the speakers
into the room.

A 7" high-excursion woofer delivers deeper low notes for more
dramatic movie sound effects and musical richness.
- Two Angled Tweeters:
Two strategically
positioned tweeters (array configuration) in each speaker eliminate
the need to "aim" the speakers into the room. This lets you arrange your
room with greater freedom.
Spring-Post Terminals: The Bose Virtually Invisible 791 in-ceiling
speaker use spring-post terminals to connect your speaker wire (18-12AWG).

In-Ceiling Installation:
The Bose Virtually Invisible 791 in-ceiling speakers offer simplified installation with
only four clamp screws that secure each 791 speaker to your drywall. The
791-series speakers also feature an infinite baffle design that uses the ceiling
as the speaker enclosure. The infinite baffle design eliminates the need for a
separate speaker enclosure, so it uses the space above the ceiling instead. Once
you have positioned the speakers, just tighten the clamp screws and twist the
grilles into place. The finished looked is unobtrusive, and almost invisible.
You can even paint the speaker grilles to match your décor.
Note: Virtually Invisible 791 speakers are designed for in-ceiling
installation only. They will not fit inside walls of standard 4" depth.
Virtually Invisible 791 speakers can only be installed in wood frame
construction covered with wallboard made of gypsum, plaster and lath,
paneling or similar construction.
Paintable Frames and Grilles: Paintable grilles make it easy to match your décor. The grille frames install flush to your ceiling for a finished look and can be painted to match your decor. Paint masks are
included to protect the speaker cones.
