Smooth sounding honeycomb woofer
Proprietary honeycomb cone
To make the woofer cone, Diamond Audio uses a unique honeycomb core, sandwiched between two thermally bonded layers of Kevlar, the same material used to make bulletproof vests. The resulting composite is exceptionally rigid, and also close to 70% lighter than conventional paper or polymer woofers. This featherlight cone can reproduce bass and midbass frequencies in your music with pinpoint accuracy. An aluminum dustcap also helps direct damaging heat outward and upward, away from the voice coil and motor structure.

Diamond uses a unique energy-absorbent cast aluminum frame that resists unwanted resonance, so your favorite music sounds just as the artist intended. These woofers can fit in more cars too, thanks to a frame that measures less than 2-1/2 inches deep.
Versatile crossover network
Straightforward crossover adjusments
The outboard crossover networks also give you plenty of installation flexibility, including the ability to adjust phase and attenuation. You'll also find Diamond Audio's unique "Rear Acoustic Fill" feature — a set of outputs on each network that allows you to power an extra set of rear speakers without impedance issues.
