When I first received this kit was I was disappointed. The thickness of the cable was much smaller than that of the kits at the big-box stores, and was twice the price. On closer inspection, the RF kit is clearly superior. The wire is supple, compared to the kit at the big box, and the diameter of the actual wire strand of the kit from the big box was much smaller than the RF kit (the big box diameter is thicker because the insulation is thick).

Pros:

Nice that a plastic grommet comes for passing through the firewall.

Cons:

25A fuse works, but it's cheesy.

Great kit for powered sub

Rockford Fosgate RFK10i has just what you need to install an amp ...... without speaker wire. I used it to install the Sound Ordnance B 8-PTD. It is a great choice for any low watt amp. I like that it has everything you need altogether in one package. The wire is top quality with the correct colored jackets(if that's something that matters to you).

Pros:

Easy to run, very flexible wires High Quality Wires with adequate length to install All-in-one package

Cons:

Picture is deceiving, so read the description ..... not all connectors shown are in the package No spade connectors for attaching wires to amp .... just used bare wire on mine

Excellent product for installing the Sound/Ordnance B 8-PTD. I can't speak for larger amps (contact crutchfield's techs). This made installation of the B 8-PTD in my 2012 Tacoma Access Cab a snap. Well worth the investment. And, it saved me trying to find parts in West Tennessee (not too many thriving metropolises). The bottom line is "Talk to Crutchfield's techs, they will save you a ton of time)

Just what's needed to complete a professional install.

This kit came with more than I needed and is great quality. Hooked an Infinity basslink up with this kit and it sounds great. I almost purchased a kit that was a bit cheaper but remember you get what you pay for. Will be posting a youtube Chevy Traverse install video and when I do I will add the link here. Great product.

This is a pretty good product, but it lacks quality instructions or a detailed packing list. I found a few of the connectors to be a little puzzling at first glance. But the product itself is very high quality and I would buy it again.

I bought this to install the Sound Ordinance B-8P woofer in my 06 Trailblazer. So far I have been very happy with my results. The only downside (and this is vehicle specific) is that the ring terminals provided would not fit on an aftermarket post extender or on any pre-driven bolts for the ground.

This is common wire that you need if you are going to put a new system into your car. It comes with everything that you need for the setup: power wire, ground wire, remote wire, patch cable, and all neccesary fuses. The only thing that is somewhat of a turn off was that the rca patch cable was not a little bit longer so that you could nicely tuck the wire out of sight as you carried it toward the back of your trunk.

Bought this kit for an Infinity Basslink subwoofer. Kit worked great though ended up
spending another $10 on proper fittings to terminate wires properly at subwoofer
interface. Otherwise, very high quality and more than long enough for small SUV.

Not for Large Amps

I bought this kit because of all the great reviews. However, this kit is not
sufficient if you have a large amplifier or a car that is using a lot of power
from the battery. I'm sure this product is good for the smaller amps, but I'm
trying to power a 300watt at 4 ohm amplifier and I'm getting voltage drop over
the distance of the power cable. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but from what
I can tell, I'm going to have to get a 4 gauge kit. If you have a powerful amp,
just spend the money and get the 4 gauge kit. Don't try to be cheap like me and
save money. I'm actually going to wind up spending more because I thought this
could do the job. You live, you learn

The kit was cheap and straight forward with the installation.
Only thing that I missed with this kit was the amp to sub wire.
Thankfully, I had that in my collection of wires from my former setup, I was saved!
Thought 8 Gauge would be too thin for a 150rms but seems like it is doing well.
Great simple wire kit.

Good quality wires, and the built in fuse and fuse holder saves a lot of headaches. The battery positive power feed wire for the amp could have been longer. I had to cut and splice more wire to the existing wire in the package. Suprisingly the package didn't come with blade connectors to attach the power feed and ground wires to the amp. It would have been nice if the kit came with speaker wires instead of having to purchase separately. Aside from the minor details, the kit worked pretty good with no sound issues ! This kit was used to wire in a MTX Thunder 200 watt amp in the trunk of a 1992 Acura Integra LS - 4 door.

This is a great wiring kit. Easy to work with and install. I used it to install my Bazooka powered amp, and it made thinks simple. The only complaint I have is the Power cable was a little too thick to run in some places in my car, but I made it work. Other than that, great product!

That's all that needs to be said, "Just get it!". You bought the amp, now just GET THIS! Your installation will be super easy with this kit. Don't be dumb and think you're going to save money. You're going to need all these cables anyway. Just get the kit that makes it all so easy.
