Overview: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi high-fidelity stereo system for iPod
features a built-in AM/FM tuner and integrated iPod/iPhone dock. The Tivoli
Audio iYiYi also includes an auxiliary input and headphone output. In addition,
the iYiYi offers alarm clock and sleep timer functions. The Tivoli Audio iYiYi
includes an IR wireless remote control for added convenience. The iYiYi operates
off of AC power.
Note: The iYiYi high-fidelity stereo system for iPod is available
in high-gloss white or high-gloss black.

Audio Features
Stereo Speakers: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi high-fidelity stereo system
for iPod features two 3.0", video-shielded, full-range drivers for great stereo
sound.
Dual Ported Enclosure: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi features a bass-reflex
enclosure with two rear-firing port for added efficiency and bass response. The
bass ports also double as internal heat ventilation.
Volume Knob: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi features a rotary volume
control knob which operates the volume level for the unit's stereo speakers and
headphone output. The volume display range is 0-30.
Headphone Output: The iYiYi high-fidelity stereo system for iPod is
equipped with a front-panel 3.5mm headphone output for connecting a set of
stereo headphones for private listening. Connecting headphones will mute the
unit's stereo speakers.
Record Output: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi's rear-panel 3.5mm record output
(fixed) lets you record music from the high-fidelity stereo system to a
connected tape-deck or CD recorder. You can also use the iYiYi's record output
to the connect the system to your home entertainment system.
Placement: Place the stereo speaker system on a solid, flat, stable
surface. The system is shielded and may be used in close proximity to a computer
monitor or television. Placing the iYiYi sound system in a bookcase, corner, or
flush against a wall or other flat surface will restrict the output of the bass
ports, yielding an unnatural bass sound.
Radio Functions
Digital AM/FM Tuner: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi high-fidelity stereo system for iPod features a built-in
digital AM/FM tuner with manual, auto, and preset tuning.
Manual/Auto Tuning: The
system's built-in AM/FM tuner lets you manual or auto tune stations, using the
front-panel controls or included remote control.
Station Presets: The precise digital tuner offers five FM and five AM station presets, which can be accessed directly from the unit's front-panel controls or scrolled
through using the included remote control.
RDS Display: TheRadio Data System (RDS) feature displays radio broadcast information such as
artist, title, and album when listening to compatible AM/FM stations.
AM/FM Antennas: The Tivoli Audio stereo system's internal FM
and AM antennas provide good reception in most applications. Locating the stereo
system near a window will provide better reception. The unit is also equipped
with an external FM antenna connection and comes with an external FM wire
antenna to provide better reception.
- Internal/External FM Antenna: An alternative to the
tabletop clock radio's built-in FM antenna, is the supplied indoor external
FM wire antenna or optional FM dipole antenna (sold separately). Also,
connecting your cable television 75-ohm coaxial cable to the radio's
external FM connection may provide clearer local FM reception; although you
must usually request activation of this service through your cable company.
- Internal AM Antenna: When listening to AM, rotate the
Model Three itself to align the internal AM antenna for improved reception.
There is no external AM antenna connection.
iPod/Aux Connection
iPod/iPhone Dock: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi high-fidelity stereo system
for iPod is equipped with a front-panel integrated iPod/iPhone dock and comes
with seven iPod adapter inserts. The Tivoli Audio iYiYi supports audio playback,
music navigation, and charging of select iPod/iPhones with dock connector.
- Audio Playback: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi supports music, podcast,
and audiobook playback from your docked iPhone or iPod.
- Music Navigation: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi lets you navigate your
iPod/iPhone's menu, using the included IR remote control. The iPod nano (6th
generation) only supports basic playback functions such as Play/Pause, Fast
Forward/Rewind, and Skip (next/previous).
- iPod Display: The iYiYi's LCD will display "iPod" when you select
your docked iPod/iPhone as a source. All song/artist information will still
need to be viewed from your iPod/iPhone LCD screen.
- Charging: A docked iPod/iPhone will be charged whenever the iYiYi
sound system is powered 'On' in any source mode, except AM (so as not to
compromise AM reception).
Note: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi includes the following iPod dock
adapter inserts - iPod w/ dock connector (10/15/20/30/40GB), iPod w/
clickwheel (20/30/40GB), iPod w/ color display (20/30/40GB), and iPod mini
(4/6GB). If your iPod or iPhone does not already come with an iPod/iPhone
adapter insert, it is highly recommend you purchase one from the Apple Store
for a proper fit.
iPod/iPhone Compatibility Chart: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi is "Made for
iPod/iPhone compatible" and supports the following iPod/iPhone model functions
(as of Nov. 2010).

Note: Apple iPod/iPhone software updates may
change functionality results. If you download a newer software
version, you may need to reset the device and your iPod/iPhone to
regain functionality. If this doesn't work, you may need to revert
to the older software version or wait until an newer software update
is available.
Auxiliary Input: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi features a rear-panel 3.5mm
auxiliary input for connecting an external device (such as your CD player or MP3
player), so you can listen to audio from the connected device through the
system's speakers.
Mix Input: The iYiYi's rear-panel 3.5mm mix input lets you
connect your computer's (or other device's) audio output to the unit, so you can
hear audio mixed-in with either the tuner, a docked iPod/iPhone, or a connected
auxiliary device. The volume level of this input must be adjusted at the source.
Remote Control
Wireless Remote Control: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi high-fidelity stereo system
for iPod includes an IR remote control for wireless operation of the stereo
speaker system and your docked iPod/iPhone.
Alarm Clock
Digital Clock: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi high-fidelity stereo
system for iPod features a blue backlit LCD digital clock display (12-hour).
Alarm: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi features a built-in wake-up timer. When
the alarm is set to wake, it will activate the last source and volume level used
prior to the iYiYi being turned off. If the iYiYi was last used in auxiliary
mode, a beep will sound when alarm activates. The volume level of the beep
cannot be changed.
Sleep Timer: The iYiYi can be set to turn 'off'
automatically after approximately 20 minutes (fixed).
Power Requirements
Detachable AC Power Cord: The Tivoli Audio iYiYi operates off of
standard household AC current using the supplied detachable AC power cord (120V
AC - 60Hz/45W).
Power LED: The iYiYi features a front-panel LED which
illuminates green when the system's power is 'On'. It briefly glows bright green
when receiving a signal from the remote control.
