Marine Receiver
Marine Certified: The marine receiver has been engineered and tested
for use in the harsh marine environment. The receiver features a solid aluminum
chassis, front-panel protective gasket, and IP66 waterproof face. The receiver
also meets or exceeds ASTM117 salt fog standards.
LCD Screen: The marine receiver features a single-line LCD screen with
a white background and black text.
Audio Section: The marine receiver is equipped with a 50 Watts (Peak)
x 4ch amplifier. The marine unit is also fitted with one pair of RCA outputs to
connect an external amplifier or powered subwoofer. The marine CD receiver
features 5 preset EQ modes - Flat, Classic, Pop, Rock, or Off. The marine head
unit also offers independent Bass & Treble control; plus Balance & Fade
adjustment. When listening to music at low volume levels, the Loudness feature
will boost the bass & treble response. Every time a button is pressed the unit
output a beep tone (this can be turned off).
AM/FM Tuner: The marine receiver features a built-in AM/FM tuner with
manual, seek, and preset tuning. You can select either US or European tuning.
The marine unit provides 3 FM banks and 1 AM bank. Each AM/FM bank can hold up
to 6 station presets, proving you with 18 FM station presets and 6 AM station
presets. Stations can be stored manually or automatically.
Bluetooth Audio Streaming: The marine receiver supports wireless audio
playback (AD2P) and control (AVRCP) of a Bluetooth enabled audio player or
smartphone. The marine receiver will be able to control basic playback functions
of your Bluetooth device's stored music; such as Play/Pause, Skip Next/Previous,
Fast Forward/Rewind and Random/Repeat. The
marine unit also supports audio streaming of music apps downloaded on your
smartphone with limited control. Advanced music control
of your music apps will still need be done via your Bluetooth-enabled
smartphone. This unit does not display song/artist information.
Note: This unit does not support Bluetooth
hands-free communication for making and answering phone calls.
USB Port: The Marine CD receiver is equipped with a rear-panel USB (type-A)
port attached to the chassis by a 6.5" pigtail. The USB port allows you to connect
a USB thumbdrive. The unit supports audio playback & control of MP3/WMA audio files stored on a compatible USB
thumbdrive. The unit offers Play/Pause, Fast Forward/Reverse, Previous/Next
Track, and Random/Repeat playback functions. The Intro Scan feature allows you
to locate and play the first 10 seconds of each MP3/WMA track on a USB stick.
This unit will also display song/artist information.
Note: Media devices, such as smartphones and MP3 players, should
be connected to the Marine receiver via Bluetooth or Aux input.
Aux Input: This unit features a rear mounted,
stereo RCA auxiliary input on a 6.5" pigtail so you can connect an external audio
source. An RCA-to-Minijack cable (sold separately) will be required for the
connection of a portable audio player with a headphone jack output.
USB/Aux Adapter: The
included USB/Aux adapter provides easy connection and disconnection of your USB
thumbdrive and portable MP3 players. This adapter features an 8' cable
terminated by a male USB (type-A) connector and male stereo RCA connectors which
plug into the marine receiver's rear-panel USB port and Aux input. On the other
end of the cable is a housing which contains a female USB (type-A) port and
3.5mm minijack input which can be mounted in a more convenient location. The
USB/Aux adapter is designed to be flush-mounted and requires a cut-out of 1.315"
(diameter) x 1.9375" (depth). A plastic collar locks the adapter into place. An
integrated rubber cover protects the connections from the marine environment.
Mounting Options: The marine receiver requires a rectangular cutout in
the bulkhead for inserting the chassis. The integrated protective gasket,
supplied U-bracket, and included hardware secure the unit in place against the
mounting surface. Receiver dimensions:

Note: The receiver does not include a mounting sleeve or
ISO-mount screw holes to accommodate standard automotive installation.
Marine Speakers
UV- and Water-Resistant: These marine speakers feature UV-
and water-resistant chrome grilles, cast-polymer speaker baskets, rubber woofer
surrounds, polypropylene woofer cones, poly semi-dome tweeters, and stainless
steel mounting hardware. The spider and tinsel leads are also treated against
moisture and UV contamination for marine applications.
- Woofers: Each speaker has a 6-1/2" polypropylene woofer cone
that rejects moisture and UV contamination while delivering excellent
performance. Each woofer uses a UV- and water-resistant rubber surround.
- Cast-polymer Baskets: Cast-polymer baskets are used to
provide a waterproof platform that rejects UV contamination.
- Tweeters: Each speaker uses a 1" poly semi-dome tweeter for
crisp, clear highs.
- Mounting Hardware: The speaker comes with stainless-steel
mounting hardware and a fixed grille.
