Concealing speaker wires inside your walls is just one part of giving your custom-installed home audio system a neat, finished look. You also need a safe, attractive way for the wires to enter or exit your walls near your receiver and your speakers.

The Russound BP1D includes two 5-way binding posts — which accommodate the positive and negative connections of one speaker. Install one of these outlets behind each of your wall-mounted surround speakers for a neat home theater installation.

The 5-way binding posts accept banana connectors, pin connectors, spade connectors or up to 12-gauge bare wire.

You will need a single-gang junction box or low-voltage in-wall bracket (not included) to attach an outlet to your drywall.

Features

Overview: The Russound Plate Mate BP1D is an in-wall modular 5-way binding post plate. It has 1 pair of 5-way binding post connectors on the front and back. The 5-way binding posts can accept bare or tinned wire (up to 12 gauge), pin connectors, spade lugs, single and dual banana plugs. The binding posts are gold-plated to resist corrosion.

Installation: The BP1D is designed to fit inside of a single gang junction box using the included wall plate. The binding posts require no soldering for easy connection of input and output wires.
